What a treat of a movie! When justice prevails and creepy religious leaders who prey on devotees, girls and women are brough to justice. More people need to questions all religious and tradition practices and not follow it blindly. Great acting and thankfully no song dance numbers.

This movie had a real message. Specilly the acting by Ahlawat was amazing. Junaid did a decent job and he needs thoda refinement and he will be next big thing. . The movie is based on period 100-200 years back . Also Junaids Character was a Reformist and not a socialite/feminist. . Movie is slightly slow some places but good to watch

Just watched the movie and I have to say it's amazing. The acting, the story line, the entire production! Was such a pleasure to watch, and the fact that it was a period film, made it even better.
But main thing is Especially Indian Audience don't Wanna accept it and watch this, from their own point of view, these kind of movie which sit in category of religion issues, and People (who calla himself a messenger of god), Audience don't like this, and this is one of the major reason that Usually Makers don't think about to do release such movies in Direct Theatre.

So beautifully executed and brought forward a part of their history under the rule of the English. In every culture there are always some that are given the power and prestige of office - politically and/or religion and humans such as they, always take it too far by thinking they can get away by oppressing and creating dissension amongst its people. We can't forget that the people in all cultures also give these men those powers and am happy to hear that they were able to their power back. This story was very well written and brought to us - the dancing, singing, costumes and the choreography was tremendous and the beautiful colours so bright and vibrant. Both actors powerful and enigmatic. Wonderful movie!

What a movie......Masterpiece.....Will open the doors of past filled with some filthy episodes to the people of 21st century.....a true message....regardless of what ever religion you belong to......what is wrong is wrong....and should be reformed......Every religion has its "thekedaar" in different forms who need to realise that religion connects a person to god.....does not require a Dalal or middleman for that!

Lekin asa to lga hi nhi , bhut khud . 1862 ki bat h ye , vishvas hi nhi hota ki fir bhi aasaram or ramrhim kese ho sakte h . Aastha achi h lekin anad bhakti nhi . Simple si bat h . Lekin ab yha bhi logo ko bura lgega , kher mujhe te movie bhut achi lgi ❤❤
