The visit manifested in the collection’s shapes, structure, silhouette and colour.
Ruffled, voluminous and protruding came the gowns, some strapless and some with bustles, others with sleeves to swallow you up and others that worked to restrain the arms.
It was sculptural and architectural.
Tulip shapes, peony shapes and more, they were all there and incarnated in shades of blush and peach, teal and grey.
