@@calilafertin8455 no flamenco music does not come from India nor does it come from the MiddleEast. It comes from South of Spain. But, the Romani Gypsies and much of the roots of this music and dance does originate in India. It got blended with the Middle Eastern musical traditions which were already present in South of Spain when the Romani Gypsies arrived there in the late 14th century. So flamenco is a hybrid music of Spain's Romani people. But also remember that though it is from Spain it is not Spanish either. It is music of the Romani people of Spain or rather Andalusia. It is only in recent times that this music has evolved into being a symbol of Spain and being except by the Spaniards. Earlier in its history it was seen as immigrant music played by the persecuted Gypsies. Much of Spain's folk dances interpreted by the Gypsies also got added into the flamenco repetoire, but later in history. So You may be correct in saying "flamenco does not come from India" on a certain degree, but on the other hand you are wrong to assume that it comes from the MiddleEast or to think it is MiddleEastern music because it is not either. The Middle Eastern Arabs and Jews had their own classical music styles in the Andalusian regions. Nor is flamenco really Spanish music either for the Spaniards had their own ethnic folk music and dances. It is Andalucian music of the Gitanos. Thanks for watching and your comment.

@@calilafertin8455 thank you for your video and question. this music sounds like
sinti music and not Indian music. But there are subtle melodic technicalities that could be an Indian influence there. Remember that music carried on over generations can not be analysed and categorized in technical aspects only as western science or scholars from around the globe tend to do. There is more to music that can not be simply put into a box. For people and communities such as Roma or black African slaves or other native and persecuted peoples, their music changed and they had to adopt to fit the ruling class norms. but beneath that one can feel the origins of their own authentic soul in the music. This is something that can not be catercorized, analyzed and explained by an outsider but only by ones self and within onesself and their community. Music surpasses all boundaries and enters places that human mental and physical elements can not. This not only binds an enthnic group of people together as one, but also all of humanity and life as a whole.
