Artist / Group: SKREAM Record Title: ACID PEOPLE Record Label: BIG APPLE 7 Release Year: 2005 Release Date: 18th October 2005 Format: BRITISH 12" Music Genre: DUBSTEP
Oldkidsjonge Of course I'm talking about how I feel about it, I'm the one writing it, and I'm not saying it's a universal thing, so yeah, I find it to be better, what else could it possibly mean?
Well you can't say that for certain because who knows what some random person somewhere in the world might dream up, but for now, England is and always has been the top dog. Hands down.
I'm an American too and American Dubstep is the Katy Perry of Dubstep. UK is the seed and leader in Dubstep. If you love Dubstep give respect where it's due.
DAMN STRAIGHT UK KNOWS WHAT'S UP YO!Skream is one of the first to do "Dubstep" the guy deserves all of the people that love "Dubstep" respect. Dubstep would be nowhere without this guy.
Why does everybody hate on one dubstep artis and love another. Seriously, if you like dubtep you like dubstep and if you don't like one artists style then don't listen to them. I personally like Skrillex, Skream, Netsky, Rusko, DatsiK, and Excision all equally. I just love the dubstep sound and the different artist styles make it even more interesting.
Well there's plenty of good producers all over the world, but my two favorites from the states are Matty G and the great DJG. I wouldn't be surprised at all if, in the future, more American deep dubstep producers come out of the bay area as well.
The problem isn't people making mistakes with the name of the musical genre. The problem is upsetting the subculture which has built up around a particular sound and associating it with things they don't like.
heyyy I'm fan Skrillex!!! and I know that Skrillex is brostep(sub genre of Dubstep) musician and this is the real Dubstep! but I love the Dubstep and Brostep ;)
whats up with the skrillex hate? he's a cool bro and likes to blow smoke like most of us and has made some killer dub tunes that many will never make so what he makes other shit, he's making money making music he's basically beat life good for him smoke on LOVE DUBSTEP peace! ;)
Canada's where it's at bro. Downlink, Datsik, and Excision. I wish I would know where Vexare is from, but I think he is American, and he is one of the best producers easily.
HQ is not about resolution, its about audio quality. This song is probably 48 or 44.1khz at 16bit, witch is CD quality, witch is high quality compared to most songs on youtube.
They aren't underrated, although it is a good thing that they aren't as commercialised as more recent producers, keeps the dubheads away from the fanboys.
I can't speak for everyone here in the states, but everyone I know that likes "dub step" likes the aggressive sounding stuff with glitchy fast cut/edits. The lazy beat is basically the only thing it has in common with "real dub step", which I also like. Which is fine. Totally fine. I don't care what's "real" or "traditional" but I know what sounds and textures I personally prefer. This is turning into the frustrating trance vs. techno vs. house debate. Who cares? I like "electronic music"
Canada is putting out alot of good artist I've apreciated a few things from them but Zomboy has impressed me the most out of the newer artists surfacing
there's actually a ton of bass and sub-bass frequencies in this song. most computer speakers arent going to be able to pick it up. new dubstep "drops" are mostly mid-ranged and are used like the way guitars are used in metal/rock.
Datsik is actually Canadian, along with Excision, Downlink, Zed's Dead, and many other dubstep artists. These guys actually make tolerable brostep rather than having the usual annoying noises everyone complains about. Don't get me wrong I'd take Benga, Skream, Hatcha, Loefah, any of the original dubstep producers but dubstep isn't dead, you just have to know which artists to look for.
Yo AMERICA is where its at bro! we have BASSNECTAR and ill.gates and thats all that need be said. I wouldnt really call them dubstep but they floor these artists in my opinion atleast with live show experiences.
dont you just love when the drum beat actually goes with the basss and the synths aren't overwhelmingly annoying?! anyone?
Pretty much all of skreams songs
i like how this kind of music is both chaotic and peaceful
yeah they play oldschool uk dubstep in spa's and churches
This is what people should hear when thinking about Dubstep, not anything else ..except.. you know.. actual Dubstep.
I love all dubstep, not just what started it.
It's definitely not on the same level as more modern dubstep.
Oldkidsjonge Far better than much of it, and very different, not just about drops.
Who are you to decide what's better? You FIND it better.
Oldkidsjonge Of course I'm talking about how I feel about it, I'm the one writing it, and I'm not saying it's a universal thing, so yeah, I find it to be better, what else could it possibly mean?
this is time when this song is 10 years old
Well you can't say that for certain because who knows what some random person somewhere in the world might dream up, but for now, England is and always has been the top dog. Hands down.
This is the greatest dubstep tune ever made kids

Stop with all the hate people. Everybody got a different taste of music.
Nothing is killing dubstep, it's mad popular still.
Thank you JOE NICE! Btown where it was born. Dubblood OG
DAMN STRAIGHT UK KNOWS WHAT'S UP YO!Skream is one of the first to do "Dubstep" the guy deserves all of the people that love "Dubstep" respect. Dubstep would be nowhere without this guy.
IF ANYBODY HAS THIS ON VINYL IN THE UK AND IS WILLING TO SELL OR KNOWS WHERE I CAN GET IT MESSAGE ME, I'VE BEEN LOOKING SINCE THE DAWN OF TIME.
SOMEBODY HELP THIS GUY OUT
OneHappyBlonde please someone help me and Lambzzy!
OneHappyBlonde DUDE I DONT KNOW WHY WE SHOUT BUT YES HELP HIM
Are you sure you want the original? Playing it decreases its value. Why not using Stanton's Final Scratch or Rane's equivalent
Has your mission been accomplished?
@bunik007 Croydon ground zero! Recognition and respect from Australia!

The phsycadelic impact of Skream's drops are ten times more potent when you're high,

LONG LIVE UK!

They aren't underrated, although it is a good thing that they aren't as commercialised as more recent producers, keeps the dubheads away from the fanboys.
I thinks its amazing how he uses vinyl records instead of using cds and screens and shit to beat match
here from 2022 ACID PEOPLE
smoking weed and messing with the song play speed makes the track so awesome
1000x when you're on acid.

How it should be, a man and a bit of vinyl.
Yo AMERICA is where its at bro! we have BASSNECTAR and ill.gates and thats all that need be said. I wouldnt really call them dubstep but they floor these artists in my opinion atleast with live show experiences.
CZcams used to have a 'HQ' button that made it the max definition they could (480p).
