    Next time you need to seal a pipe going through a wall or other situation like that, get some 5200 Marine Adhesive Sealant made by 3M. It is far superior to any caulk/silicone/sealant that I've come across in 30+ yrs of doing all sorts of home repairs and construction. 9 yrs on my boat which is exposed to the elements 24/7 and it still hasn't leaked a drop and remains semi pliable, and it's below the water line.

    Yes you're right Jason, these Hyperlites are indeed, super lights, now that you have them installed. They [provide good and efficient lighting for your front and year areas.
    In my experience, L.E.D. lighting is more than half the cost of the formerly common high pressure sodium ( old style street lights ) and certainly lower operating cost than
    the old halogen lights.
    Nice job!

      @@NorthwestSawyer Yes too, I bought some of the older but " something NEW in fluorescent tubes, they light up in cold areas" that came to the market a few years ago,....
      I soon discovered that they are not much better then the old style,..they still flicker when the temperature is at or below freezing.

    I watched this video when you first published it and several times since. I was looking for outdoor lights for my new shop and these Hyperlights are awesome. I got two of the 100w streetlights like yours and 3 of their 50w wall lights for the bays under the lean to. I haven’t got the service cable connected yet but I can’t wait to see them working. The lights themselves are top quality. Thanks for showing them. Btw I made a similar mount for the street lights. Thanks for that idea too!

    Having the area lit up like that is awesome. Are you going to install some other more subtle lights by the entry doors? I like the low intensity LED right by the door, just enough to not bang my shin on the trailer hitch! Aww, who am I kidding? I do that in broad daylight!

    • @NorthwestSawyer
      @NorthwestSawyer  Před 2 lety

      Ha! Yes. We’ve all done that at least ten times😂. I plan on adding a roof structure over the entry door so a smaller “porch” type light will be needed. It’s been a couple weeks now since I installed the big lights and you’re right. It’s awesome to have the entire area lit up.
