DRILL of water rescue and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) in Playa de la Charca, Salobreña (Costa Tropical, Granada) during the tourism quality and environment audit.
Congratulations on the professionalism and excellent performance of all those involved in this drill on the beaches of Salobreña. A special mention to the Captain who with great skill, in bad sea conditions, knew how to bring the boat as close to the sand as possible:

📑 Description of the drill:
⏱️ Salomar beach lifeguard, visualize a person who was asking for help at a distance of approximately 200 meters from the coast, activate the communication protocol and notify coordination.
⏱️ Emergency protocol is activated, by the coordination that gives the notice to 112, the police and the rescue boat. The boat leaves the central module of the beach and makes the approach to the victim with the support lifeguard.
⏱️ Upon arrival, the victim is assisted by the rescue and first aid team, where CPR maneuvers are performed using the automatic defibrillator (AED) and oxygen therapy is administered.
⏱️ Once the victim is stabilized, they wait for the emergency services (112) to arrive to be transferred to a hospital.
