Vader, Palpatine and Tarkin, 3 people who were born on outer worlds who became the 3 most powerful figures in the Galaxy. Such epic stories for each of them and its great how their involvements with palpatine all intertwine.
Well Palpatine was more mid rim but yeah a unimportant world other than its beauty
and thrawn he's not even from the unknown regions!

Tarkin was a great asset for the Empire, but ultimatelly his extensive reliance on fear tactics ended up doing more harm than good. But I cannot blame him for It, he is a man of his time, a veteran of the Clone Wars forged under battle. He just ended up admiring Grievous a bit too much for his own good.

"Tarkin" is our nickname for my grandfather! My son is the one who started it because Pappaw has those noble, Aryan, aristocratic features like Tarkin...tall, thin. My son also says he reminds him of a high-ranking Nazi SS soldier. My kids have quite the imagination! 😂 Pappaw has a moped that he likes to drive around town, and we're thinking about getting him one of those motorcycle vests with "Grand Moff" on the back!
