I realize you’re home with a new baby but I’d love to see an updated version of this video ❤️
Omg yes, and compared to the “new” radiant face and body! Is it the same or not?! I think a lot of people are confused about this!
@@alexandriamangano5418 it’s the same foundation! They just changed the branding and packaging for it!
MAC Face & Body is my all time favorite foundation. To me, it provides the perfect amount of coverage with a beautiful finish.
Yesssss!!!!!
How much?
@Martina Smith you can buy a bottle of face and body in white which can be mixed to lighten the shade you already have. It's really great
Tiffany Fernandez hi... can you help me match my color? I’m a 220N in Anastasia luminous foundation...but not sure in Mac f&b
For my 50 yr old skin This is my go to mixed with prolongwear concealer when I want more coverage. Have tried so many and it’s the only one that doesn’t sink into lines. Looove it :)
Lovely!
Mindi I'm 59, thanks for sharing. That's exactly what I needed to hear. I also wanted to know if it covers dark spots.
This is my go to daily foundation too. It looks so beautiful especially on people with good skin or mature skin
Agreed!
Thank you, thank you, thank you 🙏🏽! I’ve had this for about a year and had no idea what I was doing or if I was doing it wrong or bought the wrong thing. Thank you for the clarity. ❤️
This has been my go to fundation for years!! It also lasts a really long time, so worth the price.
I have never found a foundation that works better than Mac Face & Body. No matter how my skin looks or feels on a particular day, this just melts right in and looks perfect with minimal effort. It works wonders on dry skin in the summer and winter.
This can so be built to high almost full coverage if APPLIED IN LAYERS AND YOU ALLOW EACH LAYER TO DRY. I'VE done so on my models on shoots.
Stina Baby21 good to know.. does it dry quickly..is it easy to work with?
Will it roll when it dries...if you get me? Maybe that is just me that struggles with that. Products seem to sit on the top of my skin a lot.
@@skino1 hey just wanted to help you out. Ive been using this Foundation for 2 years now and even wore it everyday when I worked at Sephora lol. No, it doesn't roll at all every time you layer it. It doesn't dry that quick I say give it about 30 seconds to add more.Sometimes if I want more matte I will powder first with translucent and then put my F & B.Hope this help:)
@@killingmesmalls1156 thanks a lot! I'm going to give it a try, along with a dior one. I must spend hundreds on foundations! 😂 xx
Is it fine with sensitive skin rosacea?
I bought this because of this video and I really love it! I usually mix it with other foundations. In summer I use it by itself. Thanks for the great tip! ☺
While working for M.A.C to increase the coverage a bit but still keep it fresh, I used to mix between one and two pumps of the Pro Longwear Concealer in a corresponding shade. Looked amazing!
Got a sample yesterday, just put it on. First opinion: looks beautiful, very natural, I think it's the best foundation I've ever tried. We'll see how it looks at the end of the day.
I love face and body! I wear it a lot to work and I like that my freckles show! It’s so healthy looking! You’re so effortlessly beautiful!
Thank you! xo
Mac F&B contains a "film-forming" ingredient. It needs the friction of massage to work properly. It's magical when used correctly. Especially for dry skin or post procedure.
Justprettymakeup How can she not know this when she's the pro & essentially selling it? Bizarre.
It’s so good when you do that massage in your palms and then apply it 🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽
Yes you are right!!!
Finaly I understand why it does' nt work with me! I'll try with friction. Thanks 👍
I've been wanting to try this for so long because I love a natural, everyday healthy glow kind of foundation. I think you've just convinced me! And as you say - most things Wayne recommends, I end up loving!
:)
I'm obsessed with this foundation! I love this look on you! So natural and pretty :)
LOOOOOVE your hair style and length in this video
Finally! Ive found someone else who does the same thing as me!! CT healthy glow + face and body is so gorgeous on the skin. And yep - clean hands are the best tool to apply. Great video!
I love this foundation. I’ll definitely have to try and mix it with a glowy moisturizer.
Obsessed with these :) love my C6! So natural and gived you that glowy glass skin. Indeed using it with hands is way better!
I have mild rosacea and this foundation works for me too. I use my hands as well.
My HG for years however NEVER thought to try applying just with fingers! So thank you for the idea!
I love this quick tips series!
LN thanks!!!
Great video! I did not like F&B when I first got it but that was because I was not using it correctly. I could not understand why anyone liked it LOL BUT after researching it on youtube and actually looking up directions on the MAC site, I love this stuff. Using your fingers is a must and gives the most natural beautiful finish. Also like you are showing, it is a great mixer with other things. Thanks for showing this! You are lovely as always.
Brenda Frederick glad you were able to figure it out! It’s an awesome product
I have this before mac face&body, i dont like it... but now i know because the way i apply it!! Will try this again. Thanks Ms. Shelby❤️
I been looking exactly for this type of foundation.
This looks SO natural and pretty. I just started using Mac Face and Body and I'm already obsessed. Thanks for a great tutorial! :)
asAlwaysAriel Make sure you rub between hands quickly until it becomes sticky, then rub into skin. Not sure why she doesn't know this. F&B seems to be sold to many without proper knowledge of this important technique.
Ty for the mature skin tip! I was hoping it would be good for my age. And yes Wayne Goss is amazing!
This has been my favourite foundation for years…even better than Armani Luminous Silk (though I like a sheer but buildable foundation). I have very oily skin and have some texture. I used to apply it with my fingers but now I apply it with a foundation brush and buff it in. But you make me want to try using my fingers again!
Love the finished look. Please do a video for this finished look. It looks awesome and natural. Love your channel. Thank you. Also, I'm a Tennessee girl as well. Don't you just love this state?
Look at the video of luis torres by mac that’s how you properly apply it, you shake it than rub it in your hands and it gets a lil harder and you apply it :)
OMG ! Amazing tips and video. I loved this !
Your freckles are gorgeous! You should do a "boy beat" look highlighting all of your beautiful freckles!
Great video. Love the quick tip series!
I have used this foundation for a couple of years now and it's the only one I've ever found that works for me I'm 32 now so it had been a long search. I put this over my moisturiser- rubbing it into the skin until the slip of the formula is worked in then blend out around my hair line with a sponge, and then add a light coverage concealer and powder. My sister couldn't believe how great my skin looked, because she could still see my freckles through it but none of my slight redness around my nose area. It doesn't cake up, it doesn't crease and it doesn't oxidise. I hope that they never discontinue this foundation.
Absolutely love this video and the tips! I have both and am definitely going to be mixing them. Thanks!!!
Great review and thanks for the tips... the foundation looks beautiful on you!
You don't need foundation. Your skin's perfect. Your freckles adorable.
Hey Shelby! How do you apply bronzer or blush if it's dewy on your checks and you just powder the t zone?
Would love to see a tutorial on your hair in this video! As always, I enjoyed this tutorial! Thanks!
Hi Shelby this look is gorgeous! I have extremely dry skin would you still recommend powdering? What is your favorite brow product I saw the ones you listed were sent to you and also did you like the Physicians formula bronzer as well as MAC warm soul?
This looks super pretty! I’ve been on the fence about buying this but I might just have to get it now🤓
LOVE the quality of this video!
I agree with The Lucky One, you're so pretty with no makeup freckles and all. If I looked as good as you without makeup, Id never wear makeup.
Beautiful!! I just purchased this in the same shade as well lol I've been wanting to try this for so long but never have I bought the next to nothing face Colour and all it did was a ball up on my hands and face like oily pigment I don't know it was odd so that Foundation got thrown in the trash and now I'm trying face and body praying that it works out better than next to nothing! Lol Mac was out of stock of the small bottle so I bought the big one because I really want to try it!!
Hi!! YOU'VE CONVINCED ME TO BUY MAC F&B... AND AFTER TRYING IT OUT ......IM NOW OBSESSED!! I have a very dry sensitive skin, literally too sensitive that I get redness and allergies just minutes after applying foundation....I think I may have found my new bestfriend. :))
You should do a tutorial on how you get your hair like this! I love it- it’s super cute😍😊
I love face and body. Its my absolute favourite for everyday wear
Oh I love face and body, and i have that unisex skin tint but have never used them together, thank you! And yeah face and body is perfect on my more mature skinned mom, I think it's the only foundation she has anymore, maybe she has a mineral powder too.
My favorite foundation, once I found it is all I use and am 58 I just love this foundation.
Every girl under 25 should watch this video! Absolutely beautiful! 👌🏼
Love the quick tutorial! You finished it off beautifully. What did you use as a translucent powder?
I love your hair !😊 Do you have a tutorial on how you made it look like that ???? Love your channel too
This is a very interesting video the ladies at the Mac counter here in Hawaii didn't tell me I could use my hands so good information it works really good with my skin but since I live in a very tropical climate and it's very humid here buy lunch it's already sliding off or my face (but i do have oily skin 😟 ) & needs to be blotted but it does give my complexion a nice glow so thank you for this video aloha!....
My favourite everyday foundation! What cam are you using to film? Great quality.
Perfect girl 👌🏻🌷 My favorite foundation for many years ❤️
Wow! I just bought face & body, havent applied it yet so I wanted to see a video to get some tips. Very shocked that it applies best with fingers because i love applying my nars creamy matte concealer with my fingers so they will be a great pair! Will the mac strobe cream give a similar finish when mixed with face & body?
Hello everyone!
Thank you for your tips, Shelby!
I also like this foundation very much, because I have freckles and I don't want to cover them all.... 🤗
That looks absolutely beautiful on your skin. One question, why does it seem like it’s hard to rub into your skin? I’m a lot older and afraid to be pulling on my skin too much. Love all your videos 💚
I'm a little embarrased to say this but I am a total noob or maybe rookie when it comes to make up and I didn't want to mess up the first time so thankfully I saw Shelly's video. So thank you very much Shelly!
Love! So glad I found your channel!
I have both Mac face & body and mufe water blend foundation and I noticed that the Mac one sits on my dry areas where the mufe one doesn't, which is weird because water blend has more of a matte/natural finish... You should try Origins Ginzing tinted moisturizer with spf 40, it has almost the same effect as Charlotte Tilbury unisex glow, and it's more affordable.
Hi Shelbey, I’m an aspiring makeup artist and want to know what shades you would recommend starting out with that I could mix and match for clients. Thank you!!
This foundation will layer well if you allow it to dry
I like how fresh and natural that looks.
Omg i love your freckles. Wish we could see them more
Your voice in combination with your accent is so calming and beautiful. If a voice can be described as besutiful. I am weird. Yeah. Just a fan of the cool accent.
i love my face and body for every day! i wear it everywhere, for any occasion
Can you please make a video of how you applied the rest of the makeup? Highlighting and bronzer?! X
Hi - is there an alternative to the CT product...or would any moisturiser do? Thanks! x
I am NC 45 shade in studio fix but it oxidised to 1 shade darker
So what shade do i buy in Mac F&B
WOW I am thanking god for this haha. I didn’t understand this foundation so I almost gave it up but I love love it!
Wow. thanks for that. I would never have thought to add it using my hands.
tiajones709 ditto! I've used this for years and love the lighter glowy coverage look it gives, but I've always used a brush! This tip is a total game changer. I will definitely be trying this for work tomorrow! Thanks Shelbey!
Thank you so much for this! I started using Mac a few weeks ago and always used a brush and a sponge.. I kept losing my foundation even with setting powder. When I used my fingers for both, it worked as charm :)
That looks beautiful!
omg your skin is so beautiful, you look so much more beatiful without make up
I used always use this when I was at college doing make up forgot how good it was need to buy it again
Hi I just got this foundation but it left me patchy in some areas... I have oily skin btw but could you give me some tips on how it wouldn’t get patchy? Thank you!
I love this video!!! I have a new fave!
We’re getting a MAC near us finally! I’m gonna pick this up 💕
You need to try tarte rainforest of the sea!! I LOVE it!
Wish MAC would make a green version of the Face and Body Foundation. I'd be so happy!
omg i love face & body....i wear it every day too but now i want to buy that Charlotte Tilbury Glow lol
This foundation is the bomb and I’m 65 years old! I love it!!
tip! i use my hands most days but for those of you that dont like using your hands, i have also used a silicone make up applicator. it works well for me too if im going for higher coverage
Please review c2 in Mac studio fix powder hun :)
What’s your studio fix foundation shade?? Foundation shades in loreal and maybelline foundations??
My favourite foundation ever!
Hi Shelbey I bought the bare minerals bare pro liquid foundation I saw the review you did on it and I love how your make looks on the video can you please do a tutorial on it please thank you
Gurlll your hair color is different everytime I see you 😍
Haha yea I had to go back light to cover the grays!
How did you find your shade? I read the descriptions of them and they all don't seem to be what I'm used to reading, I have pretty pale skin with pink undertones.
Hi Shellbey, could you give me the name of the moisturizer tube you used with MAC face and body in this video. Thanks
Can you please do an updated video on finding your shade for Bare Minerals Original Foundation?? I need help between Fairly Light and Light Beige!
Lauren Castle I am really not as knowledgeable on the new shades as I am the old. I haven’t worked for bareMinerals in over 2 years so I never experienced trying out the newer colors :/
I REALLY prefer your skin w no foundation. I don't know if it's bc that tint is a bit dark on you?
Can you get a sample on line? What is the best way to pick the best shade for your skin tone?
Cool!!! I always want a new perspective on make-up!!
Watching in 2020,so before you came across the CT product did you use to wear a water based primer with Mac F+B before?Do silicone primer agree with this foundation?
LOVE this vid and your look
Mari The Unisex Healthy Glow isn’t necessary but since I have a tan right now, it adds a nice bronze hue to my skin. Check out mac’s regular lip glass line and look for the ones with a sparkle finish. I’m sure there is a similar shade. Oyster Girl is one I use a lot that has a high shine/shimmer finish.
I buy it last week because you love it and I want it to give it a try... but I can't make it work. I have combo skin and the foundation separetes in my pores. I even try the mac pore primer but is not working. I belive it could be my SPF. But do you have an other primer recommendation? One that is not so expensive as Charlotte Tilbury. I hope I expressed myself properly, because English is not my native language. Love your videos
Has anyone had issues with this making then breakout? I used to use the prolongwear foundation from mac and it caused me closed comondone type breakouts. I was so excited to try until I read some reviews mentioning this causes a lot of people skin issues.
Anyone what is the Charlotte Tilburry she mentioned in the beginning of the video? It’s not listed in the description box ☹️
Can you tell me if the Unisex Healthy Glow is good for oily skin? Also the MAC Face and Body, is it good with oily skin? Thanks
Sometimes I use MAC Face & Body to top up another foundation, you could say as a "finish", as it makes you look extra fresh and glowy! xx
Yes!!
Is f&b like a polish foundation or is it meant to cover at all?
