About Adventures Made From Scratch: I’m just a regular guy who likes to find adventure in day to day life. We may not be able to go travel the world, but there are plenty of opportunities at our door step. I do a mix of vintage car stuff, scrapyard stuff, nature hiking, and who knows what else?!? Come with me as I take you along for a ride in my world!

What's a car that you sold that you wish you could have back?
We had this old Volvo V50 literally forever. It was a 2005 model. Eventually tons if stuff started breaking on it, so we so,d it and bought a Mazda CX-30. It was junked in 2020.
My 72 Nova with a non-number matching 396. It was a dark brown 4-door.
My 96 Chevy S10 4.3L, also my 1970.5 Ford Falcon (a sripped version of the 70 Torino with it's own unique roofline).
68' barracuda notchback 318 I paid $800 for it back in 77' looked brand new with just under 55k miles. But at 16 I had a lead foot 😂 and before long the engine blew up. And about 79' off to the junk yard. Out of all of the cars I ever had I miss that one the most!
A fiat 126 with a fiat twin cam in it or a jowett javelin I dragged out of a shed and got running or a series 1 land rover or my lancia y10 turbo I sold quite a few rarities that I just acquired and fixed up in my youth and loads of old motor cycles bsa Nortons and old dirtbikes that where cheap in the 80s I regret selling them for cheap.
Good video Puddin ended up getting that Mercedes running he bought from you
Safety Sally here: Wear eye protection when running that grinder. Especially when it doesn't have any guard.
A lot of people don't realize that you need a vent hose on the radiator. If you don't have one there is hot antifreeze acid being sprayed on the hood.
Really happy to see that Chevy Fleetline get stripped so thoroughly. That's all hard to find, valuable stuff, and there are some very talented lowrider builders who regularly straighten beat up stainless for those cars. Well done there.
WOW I am so glad you saved the sadan delivery 🙌 I wish I had a million dollar to get together with you and buy a few things that need saved 😢
That looked COLD!!! Texas has been spared so far. It was over 90° today and beautiful. Very rare. We need some of that rain here. Stay warm and crush them cars. I love it. A.
Thanks again for the crushin Silas! I love that crunch and pop!
Stayin tuned! 👍🤠
Amazing. Thank you for sharing that. I don't normally say much on here but wow. Glad you both met. I haven't watched his channel in a while due to being busy with having my own adventures as you suggested when I first started watching this channel a long while ago. That has stuck with me since. I always like to go on adventures when I can.
Great show keep up the amazing work be safe my friends God bless all sweet golden goodness in one place
It's great that the very old cars are stripped of rare valuable parts before the remains are crushed.
You certainly know to keep us coming back for more Silas!
Wow you're lucky it snowed
" it smells like a skunk up here" . At that exact moment i was on the toilet watching this. You made me laugh so hard. 😂
Great video as usual! Here in the Northern Panhandle of WV, I think maybe so far this winter we have seen about 7 inches total for all of it. My grandchildren want snow days off from school. I'm o.k. with that.
January was brutal in Kansas. Multiple record snowfalls and low temps
Respect.. Thank you for your work.
its nice to catch a glimpse of the guys you work with
I'm glad to see that Mercedes saved.
Awesome always cool stuff always thanks
Excellent silas cheers 🥂 😊
That's a major pile of crusher food. Watching the loader do the slow roll with the orange Chevy truck on it looked like a funeral procession!
great stuff keep it coming!!
Another great video for Sunday watching
I cannot imagine what it is like to work in such conditions Silas
All that snow
Thanks for another enjoyable video!!! 👍💯
I really like the view of the camera on the crusher.
So enjoyable watching all your videos. You have a lot more projects than you have time. Stay safe. Peace
Good morning. Good to see you again.😊👍
Here is one from India who followes all your videos keep up the great Adventure going on boy Iam sure you didnt expect anyone so far following your Adventures Sir
Always have fun when you post
Hey Silas, you said you hoped it isn't snowing where I live, ...what's snow?
I'm watching you crushing and shivering in the cold in Tahiti. LOL
Of all the cars I've owned there are three cars I wish I still had, the first is a '66 Hi Performance Mustang Fastback with all of the modifications made in the body at the Ford factory before being shipped to Carrol Shelby, second, I was drafted in '68, at that time I was driving a stock '57 Nomad, my dad sold it for $400, he said the guy that bought it was really glad to have that "old" car ...yeah, I bet he was, the third is a "complete" '51 Henry J that came with a car I bought in the early 70's, that I didn't pay anything for, as part of the deal, the seller said I had to take the Henry J before I could take the car I bought, I just stored it in a shed and never really looked at it. I was young, dumb and stupid and didn't even know what a Henry J was! I wish I had any of them today!
However the car that makes me cry the most was during the California gas crisis in '72, I found a 1971 Boss 302 Mustang for $1800 cash, I had $1600 cash with me, the seller knocked off $100, but $1600 was all the money I had.
as a kid I loved the snow. age has taught me the folly of youth.
As a kid I loved snow.
About half a decade has passed.
WHERE IS THE SNOW 🤷
As a kid I loved summer because I was out of school now sometimes I drive my old beater truck and I miss the snow and cold of the winter with no ac and 115 temps in Texas being brutal
@@porsche928s4 Spring, summer and fall ment work. Winter was school and light work as in feeding and repairs as needed.
Thankyou
Yes Iris I actually seen that put inside Shop video yeah he's a good guy does good content and you're a good guy too so I watch both of y'all so Keep On Keepin On
Its interesting to see some of your buddies/helpers in the videos, be interesting to know more about them and introduce them
Two of my favourite channels you and Puddin
At the 1:50 mark, you show a 1972 Plymouth Fury. Its the white sedan with the rusted top. Thats the same model car I learned to drive. It was the family sedan and by the time I turned 16, it was rusted out, smoked like a steam engine and was fun to drive up and down the back roads. Finally had to park it at 216,000 miles. It had a 360 V8, smaller engine from what I understand most Furies had.
Have a good day and be safe and careful.😊👍🙏
Thanks
Wow now I'm living the easy life, this weather is cold oh man maybe once I would get out there it would be ok
Awesome video Silas
Good video Silas
The junkyard is looking quite beautiful with its coating of snow.
Good video. Neat crossover. I really need them toyota pickup radio knobs. :)
Great video!
Man those weather conditions are crazy im supprised how much you got done be safe mate .
😝 that Fleetline sounded like paper being wadded up!😝
Even lekker op een vrije middag met een sloop auto crossen wel met achterwiel aandrijving en met V8 😍😍
I love how keep your family junk yard salvage yard cleaning up and bringing old cars out and bringing old cars in
Its 2/25 of 24... currently snowing and blowing hard here so its just another week before you get to enjoy our weather. Military thanks you for that metal for our impending war of the problems in Venezuela. Our oil prices have dropped signaling a problem and of course you most likely understand that better than me
A new Development - how Excited is that - wonder what it is - well one Day You will tell Us ! Lots of Crushing - Selling and Buying - lots of Progress - Yes - the Snow and Cold Sucks but Life is going on - well done Silas and many Cheers from WARM Australia !!!!
Old mechanic loving your videos.
PUDDIN!
Hot damn another good one!
You move a lot of cars . I would love to do what you do. Great job.
Good morning from Australia
Love the video's not knowing what is next is what keeps me coming back
the Morris Minor/1000 van at 10:10 must be so rare as a US Mail van, shame nobody saved it yet.
Dint you have a Car version to with a racked body when you got it ? sale both together & they can use the correct chassis from it.
Tk very much for this video 📹 ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Another good vid Silas. I subscribe to puddin' too. Small world. Thanks Brother ! 👊😎👍
Good afternoon from Pennsylvania USA
Yes Sir!!!
I'm from California the only snow we get is in Frazier Park up in the Grapevine Highway 5 North .
From what the drone showed I saw a few old car's that look like keepers. I hope someone comes to you with cash and a long haul trailer to put them on there land. If there's any time to collect none running classic is now.
That was fantastic loved it thank you for sharing and your time was really great never miss a video and can't wait for next video thank you silas
15:00,love those Dodge Diplomats ,but especially the A38 police package Diplomat & Gran Fury ,use to sell tons of those as well as convert Chrysler 5th Avenues to the Diplomat for the TV series Gotham & the Amerikans ,they usually wreck the converted ones in scenes & i get to sell them back the parts after they got blown up or wrecked & get the wrecked ones back as scrap too ,they also would want the older 80's Chevy Caprice 9C1 police cars as well, all the police lightbars was my lights as well, miss those days
Puddin to the rescue
Yeah Silas is crushing. Good money and with the wayn the EV. Market is going. Petrol vehicles will be a goner. Soon
@user-ht1xu4gv2u Who knows? It seems to be a toss-up. The lithium-ion battery packs aren't sealed by proper welding, so they suck up water when going through the least little puddles. Or when flooded out, by storm runoff. And impact damage from crashes on icy roads. Water and/or impact damage causes them to burn 🔥 for days!
Then there's the price! $50,000+ to $70,000+ !!! People can't afford those prices when they are having to choose between food and heating fuel, and having to get second jobs to help pay for vehicle fuel!
People are so fed up with the high prices of fuel ⛽️ and E.V.s, that I have seen folks on the CZcams copying Indian and Paki vids about pressure cooking plastic waste to make diesel and gasoline. Kind of like a moonshine still
Puddin got that merc to run.. 😊
Another awesome compilation of videos. Keep up the gret work. Awesome adventure
Great video. I hope you don't crush that Packard. The 48-50.
Hurt my heart to see you cut that Jaguar up 😭
Lots of money in spare parts doors, guards, bonnets 50$ 100 $ 150$ chrome trim, stock unique rims.
I would like to see what the front ends look like after they are done
I've seen car front-ends on PINTEREST that have been turned into bars and shelf units, industrial mantlepieces, and footboards for bizarre bedframes. Then again, I've also seen old car and truck front-ends used on Rat Rodded, Kustomized vehicles as the core support, bumper, and headlights to a mid-century version of a highboy roadster.
Good video
There are a lot of good parts on some of those vehicles that you could take off and make money.👍
keep real good context
36:15 I didn't expect the Merc to disintergrate.
Good morning from new Zealand

I'm subscribed to your channel and Puddins fab shop. To ❤❤❤❤
Wish I knew you had that 1950 packard. I would have driven up from north TX for the nose off that one. Probably crushed by now.
I still have it
Thanks!
Thank you for your support!!
You could get the VIN taken care of on that Chevy truck and use it on the land you have for a work truck.
He got the Mersadies going.,
Casey, the amount you’re beating yourself up is in direct connection to your professional being. Also most people don’t show their issues. I’m not going to call this job a failure because the goal was to get the customer out and you did.
good for Puddin he should saved a few trucks as well
Watching you Chanel is like watching scary Movie 😅it very horrific but I can't stop I now if any body wanted any part it would of already be taken off 😂😂
Yes I do watch pudding fab shop and that car started Right up 👍 was fun thanks 👍👍👍👍👍😊
CRUSH...CRUSH...CRUSH...CRUSH...CRUSH
That looks like a 1964 190D Mercedes. The "D" is for dog - not for diesel. We had 2 of these.
Pudin did a will it run on that car Monday just gone and it did ❤
Evening from U.K.
You can tell that Jeep,Cadillac, Buick and the Chrysler are ready for the crusher.👍
