Allow me to illuminate a few things here for you @CMskittles starting with the original video in 1999. Ryan filmed and interviewed the jocks, preps, and kids whose parents had money. There were literally hundreds of band geeks, nerds, stoners, normies, and troublemakers that he did not record/put in the video or even know for that matter. The kids he did film all had the same style, personality, upbringing, vernacular, etc. They are the students who are in student govt, yearbook, sports teams, honors classes, and brown nose the teachers arseholes. The 1999 video is not a true snapshot of the the school but rather one of a loosely nit group of friends who all went to the same parties and events that 95% of the school was never invited to. Fast forward to the Reunion and what do you know it's the same people in the video, with a few exceptions I'm sure, who attended bc the other 90% of the school did not have any connection to the school or classmates through social circles, clubs, organization, sports, etc. that the popular and well-to-do kids had, so why attend something where you are an outsider and no one even recognizes you? In addition, many of the original groups stayed connected into adulthood or reconnected via social media, so the reunion was truly THEIR party. Just like it was THEIR high school back in the day.
Millennials are as old as 38 now. Never forget. Also, I can’t believe I’m invested in the Glendora High School class of ‘99. Hope you guys wore sunscreen like the song said.

I'd love to meet up with the classmates I had when I graduated from primary school in 2011, (which is 8 years for us, and it's a combination of what the americans call elementary and middle school) but I hated my high school experience, the class was just an unfortunate combination of people with way to many girls, which is a recipe for disaster, so I'd maaaybe go to to the reunion to see if anything has changed and maybe reconnect with some people, but I wasn't as lucky with my high school class.
I am in a similar situation. There are guys from my class that I like and are still best friends with to this day but also plenty people I don't give a fuck about. Never felt like I was missing out tho. Not everyone can have an awesome class.

I'm class of 2019, and during my classes grad practice, we were talking about how badly we don't want to see each other in reunions. Watching this video, made me have a change of heart and hopefully my classmates get a change of heart too.
Excellent! As good as I expected it to be. And Furby is definitely still SUPER fine, wow. The side-by-side opening scene at what I assume is still your parents' house was a nice touch! The door and cobblestone siding were easy to spot. What a time machine, man! It's great to see that everyone has aged extremely well, including yourself, and you all still have the same personalities. Very cool of the people at the end of the video to have sent an update on themselves so that this video could be complete. I see now why it took some time to piece it all together. My dad graduated in 87 says he's not sure how he graduated with all the fun he and his friends had, the stories he tells of him and his friends growing up in the 80s are legendary.

Wow this is amazing to witness. I'm class of 2010 and Its sad to say that we lost a few people right after highschool and some are on drugs or in prison but I'm sure every graduating class has that in common. Everyone in this video looked really happy and full of life. Stay Blessed.

I'm class of 2019, and during my classes grad practice, we were talking about how badly we don't want to see each other in reunions. Watching this video, made me have a change of heart and hopefully my classmates get a change of heart too.

Excellent! As good as I expected it to be. And Furby is definitely still SUPER fine, wow. The side-by-side opening scene at what I assume is still your parents' house was a nice touch! The door and cobblestone siding were easy to spot. What a time machine, man! It's great to see that everyone has aged extremely well, including yourself, and you all still have the same personalities. Very cool of the people at the end of the video to have sent an update on themselves so that this video could be complete. I see now why it took some time to piece it all together. What I wouldn't give to go back to high school for just a day, but what a difficult end of day that would be to walk away from. Like your time is up and the ghost of high school past is telling you this, but you're not quite ready to leave just yet.

I tell my kids storys too bout crazy stuff we did its true what ur dad says 80s were epic for sure it was defenitly awesome time totally loved it i dont know how me and most my friends graduated i think they let us im not kidding either. It was a different time man i have some storys!
Johnny k he told me a teacher only passed him his senior year because the teacher told him he never wanted to see him again.I would love to write a book about all the stories he has told me. He just recently lost his best friend from that time, that just gives me more reason to get these stories down.
