Thank you for this video. I have had Crohn’s for 50 years. Been on infliximab, and then on Humira. Starting Stelara tomorrow. I have never let my disease get me down. I taught swimming to 2 year olds for 46 years, and just retired last year. I can’t count the number of times I taught while I was dealing with an obstruction. I’ve had 3 surgeries over the years. The trick is to go on with your life without letting your Crohn’s limit your enjoyment of it. You seem to be handling it well. Keep it up!

Been in remission for almost 4 years after 5 years of 5 surgeries and 2 bouts of sepsis. Stelara is way better than remicade when remicade was working for me.
I also have short bowel from all the surgeries so other meds are taken to manage that but I'm 100% good with my Crohn's.

I was on the same biologics that lead me to stelera! I have the same exact symptoms you expressed. I also struggle with body dysmorphia from being diagnosed with crohn's. I was infatuated with how skinny I was when I was on a liquid diet. I've since then gained 65 pounds and struggle whether or not I look "normal" you look fantastic! So happy this works for you. So far it has stopped my GI bleed, I have always dealt with getting adult acne on any biologic. I really hope it goes away with stelera - it drives me insane it never stops the only thing that works is UV therapy & creams. My knees still hurt but I only had my infusion on Friday! I guess it's working its way through. Thank you for sharing ❤️ I hope stelera never fails you.

Celery juice in the morning then a green juice every other day - my tummy has gone from feeling like I have rats running around to nothing at all, no upset stomach etc - I recommend everyone try juicing, made the world of difference to my tummy symptoms

Thanks for your video, it was very interesting. I also tried Humira, it worked really quick and I felt like superman, amazing! But I developed an all over rash, so had to stop. Since then I've been on Stelara and I'd almost be inclined to say that it wasn't working at all. But your video was very reassuring and I will try to be more patient with it. I've only had the infusion and my first sub-cutaneous maintenance jab so far, so it's still early days. With my first maintenance dose, I felt quite dizzy for about 2 weeks, and then it seemed to resolve. I'm interested to see if this happens again for my next injection. Thanks again for your great video. Oh, BTW, for me dairy and gluten a real problems, so I was surprised you could eat Carbonara, which has heaps of both.

I have crohn's and have never had pain in my intestines, I have never lost weight unless I put myself on a diet, I actually have problems losing weight, I put weight on too easily. This all strikes me as a bit odd. I was on infliximab for a year and it did nothing, I developed very high levels of antibodies though. Will be interesting to see what this drug does.

It has and I've been recommended this drug just scared to do self injections how did you feel about it when you first did it please?
Other than that they said that I should go back on vedolixamab and see if my blood pressure changes again and if it does then to take blood pressure tablets I feel that's not a solution, it's just taking something else for a side effect, so I thank you for these videos because knowone understands unless there going though it xx

Hi Chellie! Yes I'm still on Stelara and it has been working to date! I still have flare ups every now and then but they are manageable and the Stelara stops me going into full blown flares. It works far better for me than Humira, which I used to be on. I had side effects at the start (some skin irritations) but no side effects have stayed after taking it for so long. This video and it's comment section confirm humanity is a failure. All of these issues with fairly young people that throw around these pharmaceutical drug names as if the companies behind them give a **** about any of you. All these "issues" develop in the mind and manifest themselves. I wish the content creator and all people the best in life. This comment is genuine. Your gut is the most important aspect of overall health. Garbage in, garbage out. If your gut is telling you something, it is almost always correct. It is very possible this video had some money behind it from Big Pharma. That entire industry is made up of people that are clueless to whom they work for...Scumbags, profiteers, and worst of all documented criminals. They must have rolled out this most recent event knowing young people would line up for the poison. Why?
