I have a red rump called Kiwi he was pitch yellow when we first got him, and he became orange and yellow Also he is 3 months old and I like him he is cute.

The babies are so adorable and so are the parents. Joey is adorable 😍. What kind of grass are you giving them? Do you grow it yourself? I thought the bee was going to sting your finger, glad it didn't.

Bumble bees are pretty docile in this part of the world and it is pretty rare to get stung they are not like honey bees.

Hello! Is it normal for a red rumped to change the colour of the feathers? Mine gets bright yellow in spring-summer, and dark green in autumn-winter. :)

Joey just wants love and attention 😊. How are you going to fit a spa there? Isn't it bad to fit a pool/spa between 2 aviaries? It's such a pretty garden area.
It is not that close to the aviaries there's more room there than it looks, also we will be using a sanitation system that doesn't include chlorine so the birds will be fine.

What do you usually do with all the babies?
We have kept all the birds we have raised with the exception of the Java Finches. I don't know yet what we are going to do with these Red Rumps.
