I was thinking that the napkins were pricey too... since they were vintage from the 1930's... here in Atlanta, I find them from $1.00 to $6 each.... $325 for 18 did seem quite expensive. I was wondering if she meant $3.25 each .. that would seem more right.. but who knows.. just don't understand the price.. but then.. I am in Atlanta, not Natchez... so maybe I am spoiled. I even got a set of 12 linen napkins for $6.99... which was a steal!!!

GrandmaR that’s quote reasonable for high quality linen. New they could be upwards of $30-80 each depending on vendor.

@@danielbillingsley74 , no one wants linens any more. They languish. Linens and tablecloths and such are the casualties of the younger generations fondness for convenient, less fussy, living.

Chris h. I know. But I’m not some common heathen who wade up a paper napkin covered in sauce laden slobber. I love a good cloth napkin.

@@danielbillingsley74 , go to Ebay then, Sweetie, and load up. You can buy 100 for the price Mrs. Holder charges for 18.
