- In this episode, we will see if my Canon 5DSR survived being hit by the PACIFIC OCEAN! Yes, my $5000 camera system got hit hard by the tide because I was distracted for just a split second.
I will take my camera apart and clean the sand and the saltwater out and hopefully be able to salvage this.

Hey Jason! I've disassembled my 24-70 a few times to replace various parts. Do you happen to know what those white screw "shrouds" are on the optics and motor assembly? Those hold the frame/shell to the optics with a screw in the middle (12:45). Thanks!
If my lens ever gets sand in it, can I just send it to you?
