I like how Dragons Rising made a small spinoff show for Wyldfyre’s dynamic following the loss of Kai instead of just putting her back into the season with no reason of how she overcame everything.
Wyldfire went from being a rival of sorts to Kai to his protege to the red ninja. What a development! Kai has been my favorite since dragons rising, so hearing this audio files was heart wrenching. I thought i was being punched in the gut, but it has some hope as she is carrying on his legacy, and i don’t mind sad as long as there is hope. I’m excited to see this storyline, but I really miss Kai.
Envying you all, as I couldn't get access these videos and audio files. Before I got there the Lego website broke down here in the UK. Will try again today...
I can imagine Kai coming back in season 3 or so, seeing Wyldfyre be the red ninja and either being fine with it or more likely, demanding she give him his hair gel back.

I wouldn’t mind if Wyldfyre uses Dark Red as her main colour like we see on her tournament outfit and Orange as a secondary colour but if she uses regular Red then I have issues.

I loved how the Wyldfyre shorts somewhat matched with the Dragons Rising season because that was nice to hear and sometimes sad too. I liked when I heard Wyldfyre say something about that she will carry on the legacy for Kai cause he's still stuck in nether space because that was so sweet. I liked how Wyldfyre took off the bone thing off her hair and gave it to the baby dragons because that was nice and cause that makes a lot of sense now that her hair is a different style. Also I can just imagine what Kai will think once he's free from nether space like he might say "what I miss?" or something like that.
I think its awesome that Wyldfyre will be the red ninja, even for a while. I havent seen the episodes nor the audiofiles (where can i hear that?) but kai is her mentor, her master, her friend and her brother. She is the closest with him at this moment (Not counting Nya). Now he is gone and in their eyes he is probably dead. Even if he is alive, they will never see him again. They need a new red ninja. She is the perfect candidate to make him proud. Both for herself and for Kai. She has almost the same power, even though Kai is stronger, and she is close enough with him. Becoming the red ninja will give her a reason to grow. To become stronger for herself and kai. Maybe it will also be a way for Kai to grow. He is the red ninja for a long time, but a lot of them did get other positions in the team. Zane became the titanian ninja, Lloyd became the golden ninja, Nya was once samurai X and now the grey/water ninja. Maybe Kai will find an other place for himself in the team. His adventure alone with Bonzo will teach him new things that can lead up to that. I cant wait for part 2. Is there already a release date?

I do love how Ninjago shows off different ways of grieving. I am very excited to see her take up her stance as a Ninja Warrior of Heat.

No I think only one of them is Heatwave and the other one is a different one of their kind. Like the litter brown colored one with no horn on his nose is Heatwave and the other darker brown colored one with the horn on his or her nose is another one. Maybe Heatwave's family?

Okay, Kai is kinda getting replaced, but it's just temporary, he'll totally just come back from Nether-space then he'll be the Red Ninja again, Wyldfyre replacing him is just temporary until he comes back, no reason to panic.
