@@user-cl6kl4jo5sI have had first hand experience with the new car pack. The GTE and GT3 cars can outperform the 05 GT with the right parts and tuning.

I know that we didn't even got the Apex Allstar update but I already am excited for the Horizon Retrowave update.
If the radio station is full of 80's songs or 80's inspired songs I'm going to explode. And if we get an update full of 80's cars, this is 100% going to be the best update of the game. And I love how one of the presenters of the Forza live mentioned Nick and his quarter mile drag event.

Honestly with how much of a dumpsterfire Motorsport is, its almost doing the cars a grace putting them in Horizon instead.
Back in the day i played more forza Motorsport more then horizon but now Motorsport is literally trash. horizon is far from perfect but it can be super fun specially w the event labs

Eh, I kinda tired of earning the same cars when I do the weekly races, like those recycled cars should be unlocked that way instead of the 20 points thing. Like how we unlocked the Lotus Esprit.

I wish we had classic race cars like the Sauber Mercedes, Oreca Viper, Mazda 787b, Toyota Gt-1, Bentley Speed 8, and the old racing Corvettes.
I agree! And I love the idea of racecars in a game where you can create your own racetracks, especially for Time Attack and HillClimb racing.. but specifically for endurance racing, those kinds of classic racers you mentioned would be awesome!

This is one of the best updates based on the Evo time attack car alone. I want more Time Attack cars so much, it's crazy that GRID was one of the few cars to do Time Attack cars properly. I also can't wait for the Elantra N TCR car to come to Forza Motorsport. This is a really good update 😭

@@uhm175 i just recently found out Forza motorsport 4 had the Mine's GTRs as unicorn cars and i never got to use them, they need to bring those back
Not all cars from the car pack are no longer racing, as the lexus is still competing in the world endurance championship and Imsa. Also a few teams still run the Merc and the porsche GT3 in smaller championships. But I would have also loved to see newer GT3.
Good news for you, the devs mentioned that you can tune the Pro Stock to have upwards of 1800hp
That just means they're only giving it the funco swap :(

@@yassinenattah I mean ingame, during the livestream they said the figures were close to 1700 to 1800, which is basically 1750. They only give the v8 you're talking about to the modern mustangs like the RTR and S650.

The C8.R Is a GTE car. It raced with GT3 cars in IMSA for a few years with special permission from IMSA, but the spec in forza is the full on GTE spec. Also, the GT3-R is not a porsche cup car, it is the GT3 car whereas the RSR is the GTE car.

You can also unlock the 2023 zo6 for 80pts the same week you can unlock the ford gt race car so you might want to get the corvette also.

There's also another time attack Evo in Forza which is the HKS Evo from FM2, 3 and 4.
6-10 EUR car subscription each month is getting crazy. I bet that a ton of people buy these car packs and set precedent for next game in series.
No battle pass bullshit, already many free cars each month and a these car packs have only been added recently.
@@EvokyrI no longer play forza but these newly added dlc are not a bad thing. Premium pass delivered what they stated would come with the pass. This is just extra dlc to keep the game fresh. I’m not understanding the fuss…

Most excited about the Road & Racing parts for Event Lab. There are already a LOT of classic Gran Turismo track remakes (High Speed Ring, Deep Forest Raceway, Trail Mountain, etc,) in event labs which I play a lot. However, they never felt right due to the way the creators had to make up the roads which also ate up a lot of prop points leaving the tracks feeling like a wish version of the originals. With these new parts, this changes EVERYTHING. Not only will creators have proper roads to work with, theyll also have more prop points to play with allowing them to add more props for the background and map itself. I might even give recreating those classics a shot now due to this alone. It was the only thing that really ever held me back from creating them in the 1st place. Add the GT/Race cars as well and man. Crazy how Horizon 5 has added more race cars as DLC than Motorsport 8 at this point. Just wild.

One of the best updates so far
In terms of the cars, this is one of my favorite updates so far. I've always wanted to see more racecars that aren't 20+ years old in FH5. I agree that we need newer racecars not all these from multiple years ago though and this applies to Forza Motorsport too, I'd love to see the Ferrari 296 GT3, BMW M4 GT3, and the latest versions of some of the racecars we already have in the game.
I love the car choices, despite how old they are, i'm hoping it's sign they can put more of them in the future. I'm really hoping there's at least one competitive car, it's been quite a while without a new op car for S2 and X. Despite how much i love to drive the Sesto Elemento FE, i think it's time to have a competitor for its crown.
Nick I’m not sure abt the plain porshe in the car pack but the Mercedes “race car” im pretty sure is the f1 pace car for the f1 series and I think they still use it

Thanks in advance to the livery designers who make Manthey Grello liveries for the 911R and 911RSR. Also the M8 GTE needs a mod so that is twice the size of any other car.
Pretty decent update in my opinion. Although most of these GT3 cars are no longer competing in current series, at least the cars in Forza are more recent than most of the GT3 cars in Gran Turismo 7. The BMW M6 and Z4 GT3 cars are still in GT7, with no indication that the M8 or new M4 GT3 cars are coming to the game anytime soon. Same situation with McLaren, Ferrari, and Chevrolet as the 650S, 458, and C7 Corvette have all retired from GT3 racing years ago.
i don't usually spend much money on ingame stuff but i think i'll be buying this car pack even if what you get isn't as good as it used to
All of these GT3/GTE cars are gonna end up in mid S1 or early S2 or something with only slightly wider tires and restrictor plate removal to bump the PI into mid S2. The drag car will be a literal drag car and probably still get rolled by an Isetta with 900 horsepower or some electric car going in reverse because that's Forza Horizon for you nowadays

The car pack also sounds like it has the downside of the cars being essentially the same spec from what it sounds like, all are GT3 or GTE cars with similar general specs

Alright here since no-one mentioned this but the original FH3 all stars pack was a ultimate/ deluxe edition exclusive pre-order bonus and yes I did fact check forza wiki
So I don’t care that the new one has 3 less cars it’s still GT cars in a open world racing game we are just lucky we got them back

Lexus RCF Mercedes AMG and Corvette are used right now.
The Ferrari is iconic, and the Porsche even more, I would prefer those two more than the current 296 and 992.
Cadillac is just sick. And we can make our own GT3s like the Ford and the Viper.

The corvette C8.R is definitely GTE rather than GT3. They are using the IMSA variant branded as a GTLM (a GT3 would be branded as a GTD)

My Biggest problem with these FH updates is that when there is a special cars update, like track car update, Hot wheels update whatever they don't include at least 1 new barn find to fill in on the map. I'd like forza to do when a new update comes and represents racing motorsports, it includes a barn find featuring a Classic Racing Motorsports cars or a like FH3 where we got a hot wheels update and we got a barn find of something that hot wheels would use or go crazy on

So happy they're adding the eray to the autoshow cuz I always wanted to have it but didn't want to spend 70 bucks on a game I probably wouldn't play for long
If it was just the eray you wanted, you couldve bought gamepass, collect the car and then cancel it.
This update is quite good... but i'm still waiting for proper GT cars update that are missing in FH5. For example: Mercedes McLaren SLR, Ferrari 612 Scaglietti, earlier versions of Aston Martins, Bentleys, Jaguars, Maserattis, Alfa Romeos etc. That cars would be more proper for that game than any others i think. I'm happy that we've got some gr8 racing cars but there is one problem in FH5 that not match with them... there is no proper RACE TRACK in the game. I rly would have to seen in FH5 at least such RACE TRACK like that in Motorfest. And give us ability to more customization just before race, like number of laps for example! And bring back possibility of creating own championships! That would be something, because adding cars is not everything ... :)
