    Lovely. My wife and I bought a '57 when we lived in Melbourne (it's an Australian built car), and loved it so much we bought it home with us to the 'States. Runs like a Swiss watch. Without a doubt, and unlike most British cars I have owned, it's the most reliable collector car I have ever owned. It might just be the most reliable car I have ever owned - period!

I had them in my Morris Oxford Seried @ in Calcutta where it was known as the Landmaster. For some idiotic reason I replaced the Trafficators with blinkers but retained the Trafficators. Heavy at first, if you're used to modern cars, but you very quickly get used to it. Another thing is that the clutch pedal hinges from underneath the floor, rather than from above, so the pedal moves a bit differently when you push it.

    • @jaggass
      @jaggass Před 7 lety +1

      It can run on unleaded but the cyl head has to be modified by having harder valve seats fitted since unleaded doesn't lubricate them like leaded petrol does. If youre cyl head hasn't been modified to run on unleaded then you simply put lead additive in it.
