    Wtf. This is a 20-minute video documenting the music theory behind EVH’s mastery. Why does this barely have any views? I feel bad for you, man. This must’ve taken ages to make.
    Meanwhile a shitpost compilation somewhere else that took 30 minutes to edit, and has some fad in the thumbnail is getting 100K views in a matter of hours. Life just isn’t fair.

      I liked your video by the way, keep up the amazing work. You have my support dude.

      Thank you very much, means a lot. Thought the same for my Randy Rhoads video, and it slowly accumulated an audience, so it seems to work slowly haha

      @@AidanHalmLove that video, love our king, Randy. Huge inspiration to so many guitarists and musicians. That video you made deserved all the attention it got. And I hope this video accumulates, too.
      I honestly wish videos like this that have real heart and soul put into it actually get the viewership it deserves. A video that gets views for being informative, intriguing and inspiring;
      in contrast to a video that gets views simply because there’s a furry in the thumbnail. CZcams’s imbalance frustrates me into raw dejection.

    Crazy that this only has 1.3K views. Lo-fi production (compared to some), but hi-value content.

    This is a really great deep dive into Ed's writing, extremely informative!! Your knowledge of music theory and your appreciation of EVH= amazing introspection into EVH music. Would love to see you do a vid on "girl gone bad", "I'll wait" or "house of pain". Some of these have a 'Holdsworth' influence in a way, he had jammed with him on and off several times

    Makes you wonder how much his brain was thinking “theory” vs just having an amazing ear and writing parts that just sounded “cool”.

    Eddie wasn't influenced by hendrix. Not at all. Do a little research you don't know what you're talking about. You're probably too young

      Eddie also downplayed the Beatles influence on his songwriting. No matter what he says, it’s there. Same with Hendrix.
