Kathak Dance Performance | Chameli Debnath | TEDxNIITUniversity

Chameli Debnath, a promising Kathak dancer, a disciple of Sri Sandip Mallick for the last 18 years, has completed her Visharad from Pracheen Kala Kendra, Chandigarh & masters/ M.A. in Kathak dance from Rabindra Bharati University, Kolkata.
She presented Kathak dance to the audience, a form of North Indian classical dance. She started with the Krishna Vandana followed by Kasturi Tilakam Chaw Taal i.e., 14 beats Taal. The mesmerizing music on which she was dancing was of Padma Vibhushan Pandit Birju Maharaj.
