Rarran, RegisKillbin, Zeddy, trump, thijs and other hearthstone youtubers all play different hs gamemodes. Duels, Battlegrounds, Standard, Arena and Wild are in the game that can new cards from new expansions to climb and win HS games.
Hearthstone is a card game based on WOW, it is also a digital card game.
Legends of Runeterra is a 2020 digital collectible card game developed and published by Riot Games. Inspired by the physical collectible card game Magic: The Gathering, the developers sought to create a game within the same genre that significantly lowered the barrier to entry. - Hry

I could tell the direction of the Seraphine discussion when half way through the video Vayne and Varus was already done.
In general people seems to hate more Fanclub president and Ezreal than Seraphine, since the latter has already a very dirty record of breaking the game again and again and because of the former being the Piltovan loping telescope fused with Mayor's mana cheating.
@@N12015 On her own, Seraphine isn't that good (she isn't bad either). I played her with a bunch of different deck but most of the time the MvP is either the Fanclub President or her partner that she support. Ezreal always been good.
They nerfed him quite a bit but they recently change how his ability work. Before, the spell needed to resolve for his ability to trigger. So if you killed him before the 'spell chain' resolve or Deny the spell, his ability didn't work. But now, it's at burst speed (when the spell enter the stack). And that make him 'uncounterable'.

@@chainsawboy2388 I don’t think that’s the toxic part I think literally the only thing that is toxic is the fact that she’s paired with Ezreal. When she’s paired with other champs there isn’t always a direct easy to achieve win co, fan club president might be annoying but she doesn’t win the game in one turn consistently like ez.
I look forward to these Snnuy & Rarran expansion reviews more than the expansions themselves!

Minimorph can instantly remove Seraphine, but using a 6 mana spell to turn a 2 mana 2-5 when leveled into a 3-3 feels bad man.
You and Snnuy work really well together. Plus you knowing League Champs makes these some of your best non-HS series.

Man, when Snnuy when "no, no, absolutely not" when talking about how fun Seraphine must be because of random generating, I really felt that one. Unlike HS, LoR didn't have much RNG (it had some cards, but only in Piltover/Zaun and not that good) until Bandle was released, but after that, oh boy is RNG starting to be a pain... I'm having PTSD already from my times playing Hearthstone...
And it was mostly Loping telescope the issue, who was nerfed. I hope they revert the Bar guy and nerf the Fanclub president. I think they understand how frustrating RNG is (They nerfed Targon's Peak just because it was so random) so they expected the deck to be too tempo minus to be good. They forgot that Viktor makes created cards tempo and that Ezreal is fundamentally broken.

Seraphine likes to do die though? Using 6 mana to kill 2 is kinda bad especially if you factor in that seraphine creates cards on summon.

@@travisprescott9708 she's not really that insane after the nerf imo, 10 spells to flip í a lot, and after that she wouldn't be able to duplicate the 10 spells you used. a hit to bar would definitely make her balanced

I saw a bit of the video he spoke of, and it is difficult to disagree with his views on Seraphine. He played two Galios which were both almost immediately removed using spells through Galios spellshield.

The difference between Brann Bronzebeard and Seraphine is that in Hearthstone, you can directly attack stuff, so Brann doesn't get more than one turn after he gets played to generate value. In LoR though, you can't really target Seraphine, so you have to use an actual spell to get rid of her.
There is nary a spell in the game that can efficiently remove a 2 mana 2/5 or even a 2 mana 1/4. Quietus and Culling Strike are pretty much it in terms of "actually reasonable ways to deal with her", and she has a solid chance of generating something that takes her out of quietus range.

Seraphine’s fine. Ezreal is a major problem (he tends to break every deck that generates spell advantage, he has a long history of being a problem card). Fanclub President is a problem, but that has easy fixes (reveal the card, limit it to your regions, raise the cost, etc) and Drum Solo is arguably overtuned, but the champ is fine. She takes awhile to level up, isn’t that hard to remove, and has a pretty big deck building cost with the New requirement. If not for the Ezreal interaction (which is a problem with Ezreal) and the lack of knowledge on what Fanclub President generates, she’d be a great value engine after a slow start with appropriate deck building costs.
I mean, there are tons of variations of seraphine decks that aren’t ezreal and are still extremely good so idk
Ezreal breaking everything he touches is a good 1:1 port of his original League incarnation.
@@dfrangomango1149 And that’s fine. Those decks play different and she’s a shiny new toy two weeks into a new expansion. There’s also a ton of really good Vayne decks, there were a ton of Lee decks, Bard Decks, Norra Decks, Kai’Sa decks, and so on. Seraphine basically enables control and value play styles, is new, is fun, and is powerful, so of course she’s going to see a ton of play. The new mechanic could use a nerf (either reveal the cards or limit them to regions) and Fanclub President is a problem, but those are simple balance patch fixes. The only inherently super unfair combo is Ezreal, thanks to the zero interaction face melting.
You play 2 spell then play the 7 mana generate 3 two cost spell and boom it instant level Seraphine.
When the Seraphine/Ezreal meta was alive and kicking, I had a match where I removed all three of my enemy's Ezreals and two of their Seraphines. My nexus was still healthy and I had a decent board, so I thought I had it in the bag. They waited for me to tap below removal range, dropped Seraphine, and played a "Revive your strongest dead champion" that had been discounted by Fanclub President. I then died at burst speed to the fourth and fifth Ezreal.
I didn't touch the game for months.
I came here to tell you the following for Seraphine in Teamfight Tactics. You put her in a specific build that summons an Extra minion and she is your only carry through the whole game way until late game, when you put another minion who is a tank, oh and she didnt need carry items xD

main problem I have with seraphine decks is that until the find the ez, they don't kill you quickly, I usually concede when they set up with a bar simply because I know that over the next 10-15min I will only get to play for like 10% of the game. It just takes so god damn long for them to go through their 5-10 spells per turn over and over again.

As former HS, current LoR player, I love when you do this content. Love your variety and HS too even though not playing these days.
I maintain that Seraphine herself isn't the problem. She's good, but not like absolutely broken good. The problems are Fanclub President and Drum Solo. Fanclub President is just horrible both to play and play against. Horrible to play against because it is impossible to play around every potential game winning option she presents, and horrible to play because those times you miss on useful cards will flat lose you games a lot of the time (even better when you miss twice in one game while your opponent wrecks you with their fan...no, I'm not bitter). Drum Solo isn't as bad (in that it is less absolutely frustrating), but it is just way too efficient card draw. And I actually like the current expansion; I'm having fun. I love my Vayne/Ezreal deck even though I only built it because I love the "You're wearing goggles as a hat you imbecile" line. But I'm running fan in the deck, and she has nothing to do with what the deck is trying to do. I'm just in Piltover so why wouldn't I run it? Fanclub President needs to be nuked from orbit, and Drum Solo needs a nerf (The best idea I've seen is making the cost reduction only work if you play the discounted cards that round), and Vayne might need a slight nerf even though that would hit my current favorite deck (It's boring but maybe make her a 3/3?).

@@mintyking1 Most people DESPISE RNG. THEY PROMISED that randomness wouldn't be a big factor in competitive; that's why they nerfed Loping telescope despite not being that busted, and same for Targon's Peak and Timelines.
as a PoC only player I like this expansion since Vayne is really fun in that game mode but I can definitely see how seraphine and her could be really annoying in pvp.

I think the hate on Seraphine is misplaced. I think she is fine when paired with champions like Viktor. The problem for me is fanclub president giving you great spells that you can play twice. The other problem, and the biggest one, is Ezreal giving you free, burst speed nexus damage that dan be duplicated with Seraphine.
I do think Kennen Ezreal was more broken on Kennens release than seraphine Ezreal is now...
Ezreal as always been a problem. From day one of this game, he was good. It was Ezreal/(Teemo? Don't know who was his partner.) with freeze and Elnuk (who could fill the board with one card). Old Aggro Noxus (Teemo), Karma, Swain, Caitlyn (?), Kennen. He was always somewhat here to broke something in the meta.

Ezreal Kennen was actually fun to play against when Kenneth released, then they did the play cast merge and it exacerbated all of Ezreal's issues and made him less interactive.

The problem is Ezreal to be honest. His design is just asking to be exploited, basically any card made need to be checked if it can be exploited by Ezreal or not.
Getting Mystic shot (a 2 cost that deals 2 damage to anything) in every nexus strike, being an Elusive champion which is already hard to deal with, and it benefits from the regions it belongs to.
It's like Berry Blast from PvZ Heroes all over again

Annoying, frustrating, basically un-counterable when it goes off except by a mirror match, and the strongest deck of its time by far. Sounds about right.

Basically seraphine: your opponent has 2 mana, and you go, yeah, I'm a pro, I know every single 2 cost card in the game, It's safe to attack and he can't do anything!
Your opponent: plays a 6 mana a generated card that didn't start in its deck, so you can't track it, that costs 2 mana, so it gets doubled up by seraphine, and shuts down your play
It doesn't always happen, but the fact that it CAN happen, means you can't play around everything, and you need to leave some things to pure luck when fighting her
when your opponent is on 1 mana and you think you're fine just to be hit by a 1 mana deny

What? I hardly climbed out of bronze with seraphine deck. I played it just for fun.
I just want to note that although I haven’t played LoR in a while, I do know there is some other hand interaction in the game. Pranks will give you a chance to increase the mana cost of a card in your opponent’s hand. Don’t know if pranks are in any way viable or common in the game right now though.

Seraphine is why I quit lor
it's how seraphine breaks so many of the "rules" the game has set gameplay wise that makes her so annoying. Like for example, before this expansion if you wanted to play around deny, you'd be safe once the opponent went below 4 mana unless they were specifically playing a discount deck (which didn't really exist especially for ionia), now the amount of times I've been hit by one and two mana deny's is insane, you can't play around anything, all player skill is out of the window, you just pray. The way turns just keep going even after hitting 0 mana 3 minutes ago is also so ridiculous especially in seraphine mirror matchups
