Could you please show the paint bottles for a second longer? And show the name of the color as well, so I can remember it? Either show the color name on screen or turn the bottle left and right so I can read it on there. I would prefer it, if the color name was printed front and center like the old VGC bottles.
Hello Lucas! Depending on the finish you want to give to your models, you can use a certain color as a base or a different one (when you do this, the references used for light and shadows can also change and create more chromatic options). Long story short: with these sets, you can experiment and play with the options that you like and suit the most. The BSL combinations that we show in our GAME COLOR chart are just some examples and options, but you can use limitless combinations with the chromatic variations you like :)
Hello Jonkronn! You don't have to replace your existing colors until your bottles are empty ;) As soon as you need a new bottle, the new formula will be there!
@@vallejocolors Sorry I worded that poorly. I have no intention of replacing them for no reason, but it really takes me so long to finish a bottle of VMC if its not a priming or very common colour. I predict it will be 2-3+ years before some of them are empty. I can't wait to try the new ones. The clear bottle is something I never knew i wanted so much until I had it (with the new game colour range). Vallejo is, by a far mile, the best hobby paint/price ratio that is readily available. I was pretty upset that I only discovered how good they were after I had nearly completed my citadel set. Thanks for the reply :)

So are the base color set the proper way to use bsl? On your website it’s 72.029 as Basecolor 72.030 as highlight and 72.028 as shadow 🤔

Awesome but annoying as i have no reason to replace my 80 odd existing model colour paints. Would love to get them but also it seems wasteful.
