In our eyes, these were brave men, who stood up for citizens' rights, and were not afraid to speak on the day to day realities of life in tha hood, racism, and police brutality. I remember my father showing me the newspaper articles about it all, and he got a hold of an NWA tape and I played that thang till the ribbon broke and I couldn't splice it anymore!
Before he even finished, in the back of my mind I was thinking of a spinoff of where instead of chasing off NWA they started chanting and celebrating the song.....then Cube hit me with the catch ending. Wow
