Thank the Lord I saw this video and have someone to relate too. And I’m soo sorry for your reaction as well. 5 days ago I had mango for 3 days straight. I’ve always ate mangoes and never had a reaction in my life. And I absolutely love them. But I woke up with this rash and bumps around my mouth and figured out it was the mango as well. I literally did the same thing you did with the pit and I feel like it did make it worse. But omg… not worth it! Hoping this goes away soon and praying you get some relief as well! 🙏🏽🥲
Ugh, I’m so sorry! The only real relief I got was from some cream I was prescribed. I’m wondering if my skin will ever go back to normal. Today marks 3 weeks.

This happened to me on Monday, I thought a mosquito had bite me. Meanwhile I was there pealing a Mongo with my teeth not knowing it was the cause

got what i thought was cold sores all over my top lip, which was alarming and unusual enough but them around my mouth and neck itched for more than a week. i managed to talk to urgent care and get a pill version of a prescription cream my sister gave me, but despite brining up my mango theory, they didnt neem to know about the sap issue. very annoying
This is very helpful I’m in Belize and it’s mango season so needless to say I’ve been eating the For three days now I’m still breaking out in a rash. It started on my neck, and now it’s on my legs, my torso, and around my eyes I am miserable.😢 i’m flying home today and the first thing I do is contacting my doctor for some itch relief. Thank you so much for the video now I know I’m not the only one going through this.

Omg it is happening again and I found out it is bc of mango with your video 😠 I ate a couple of times nothing happened till I bit the seed as you described. Last year I suffered a lot. My one arm was fully red, my neck, my ear got big. I used a lot of cortisone, steroid creams. I didnt know the reason.Now it started but I found this video. I directly bought a tecnu poison ivy scrub. My lips are itchy, one of my eyebrows area got red like eczema. I hope it will stop here with your advice. Thanks a lot for this video 🫶🫶

when I lived in Oregon we would get poison oak all the time and we would bathe or shower with oatmeal in panty hose to rub down with for some relief, might help for your current lesions...

I had something similar but nowhere near as bad.When I was a kid I honked down way too many Mandarin oranges and got this huge rash inside my mouth and all around my lips.Of course it was class picures the next day so I tried to creatively suck my lips in to disguise it.Did.not.work.Thanks for this I had no idea about mangoes being this way!
Oh no! I haven’t heard that about mandarins. I honestly stopped eating majority of vegetables after learning that most have chemicals to deter us from eating them but yet, we still do
I'm dealing with mango mouth for the first time after trying to help my mom eat a whole case of mangos that she bought on a whim. I had two mangos a day for almost a week before the rash started appearing.
It's getting pretty ugly now. Lol
