Everytime this band drops something new it feels like a special day for me. Currents never fails to make such a good music. My top fav band ever since until now and they still never disappoints. And also I can see the big improvement of Brian cuz those highs he hit was nasty af!

I'm not gonna hate on their new music because people are free to enjoy what they want. Does irritate me, however, when people defend the sound change as "an evolution of their sound" instead of just admitting they did it for the broader market appeal like BMTH half a decade ago.

The Way It Ends was LITEARLLY my anthem while trapped in an abusive relationship. I was finally able to gain the financial strength to leave, and I STILL, to this day, listen to that album, and resonate with EVERY. SINGLE. SONG.

The atmospheric synths are gorgeous and lift the song to another level
This song could easily fit on any of the last 3 records, despite the fact all of them having a distinct sound
This is Currents to a tee, Chris is an absolute beast of a songwriter, and Brian’s vocals just get better and better. Also loving the display of his range on this song, it’s beautiful

Dude I couldn't agree more. I am so glad you see the same things i do. Each section had a bit of all albums, from drums to riffs, atmosphere and vocals. Just bliss ⭐️
Just one thing, i miss the more "dry" tone of TPIFS. The last albums have so much grit and distortion that sometimes beautiful rythmic notes are lost in the bass 🤔

Currents are absolutely incredible, this song makes me so excited for what they have in store for the new album. They are just one of the bands that sounds like the band members are on the exact same page about how they wanna sound (at least that's how it feels to me). Really, really love this song, the instrumentals were superb, Brian's vocals - better than ever. And that chorus...
Also, in the video, I almost jumped when they literally made the scene from the cover of the place I feel safest. It was super cool.

Its been so neat watching Brian's vocals improve with every album. Not to under appreciate the band as a whole, but he's come so far since the first album
