Just follow your heart. If you love living in Shanghai, after your MBA program, you can come back find a job in Shanghai. It is hard to find a place you truly love and are enthusiastic about.

I'm a kind of guy who likes chatting with random foreigners on street, (to clarify, I have never asked any of them for silly things like taking picture or practicing English), and I found substantial part of yall had been in China for more than 4 years, mostly 2, which really shocked me. Thinking of language barrier, cultural shocks, I need to say you guys really have some balls.👍
Glad to know you get used to the local as one of the many travelers(?) go to another country alone. I think I could get some courage from this and reconsider my situation in Japan.

If you wouldn't have continued in China when you had that bad week the first time you went there (when fudan u.), how different your live would has been? Would you have applied to Chula anyways or not? (let me know it hahahaah bc you would have had soo different experiences and you wouldn't have experienced so many beautiful times ...)
That is a good reflection: we tend to loose so many good opportunities and good experiences just because of fear... we shouldnt give up so quickly!! I'll take it into account when my semester abroad next semester (yeaah finally im accepted to study in asia)!! so thanks!!

I can get your feel and Shanghai is my favorite city even I can back to my hometown in 2 or 3 hours by high-speed train from Shanghai. U know , Shanghai is called magic city (魔都 in Chinese) in china. It is full of magic to attract many young people to come here for travelling, studying, working and living. Every time when I left the city and I will feel lost and told myself that I should back to Shanghai. Truly living in Shanghai is stressful and most of people can not afford to buy a house .In Chinese culture we don't like renting . Why we work hard in the city is one day we can buy a house and that means we got be stable and live here for the rest of life , So definitely Shanghai is a heaven for rich guys, and China is the future . Have a always good time in Shanghai. :)

I didn't like it at first, because I was really young, I've never been to China before, I had hard time communicating with people, I didn't know anyone so I felt lonely at first, and it was just so different to what I was used to so it took me a while to get used to everything, but now I love it! :)
