- In this episode, Ruben gets some bad news as he learns his ankle will need to be surgically repaired before he can ride again. He is forced to just watch as Aaron kiteboards at a secret spot, landing some insane mega loops. While Ruben is visibly upset about his injury, he finds other ways to occupy his time before he can get back into the water.

Yes, if you search on video's of Ruben Lenten you will find some footage of 2009 that you also can see in the On the Loose vids
he uses a travel bag to fit his kite, board, bar and harness into it, so he doesn't need a kite bag as he is constantly changing where he's kiting.
That spot is not secret at all.

Had the pleasure of watching Aaron Hadlow from the beach more than once doing mind blowing maneuvers.
Confusing editing =) One moment they turn off at Rawsonville next thing they look down at Shark Bay and then he walks onto Langebaan Main beach. But I'm guessing that 'secret spot' is Brandvlei dam?
