I think T. polaskii is variety of T. schmiedickeanus, not macrochele. Excellent video, as usual 👍

I see that you don't trim the roots of ariocarpus when repotting. I've seen other people trim the roots of other cactus species when repotting. so I'm trying to figure out if anyone trims the roots on ariocarpus when repotting.
