The inspiring, emotional and tragic story of Bill Browder’s Hermitage Capital in Russia is perhaps the most powerful piece of film we’ve ever featured on Real Vision. After his world beating Hermitage fund was devastated by the Russian default, Bill Browder took on the oligarchs and won, in an epic tale straight from the pages of a spy novel. But as the Russian government turned on him, the story turned from corruption to tragedy. #BillBrowder

Fascinating story. Tragic. Very Russian. "But Russian Stories Never Have Happy Endings." I am almost done reading Red Notice, Bill. It's been a long time. I'm thinking 1982. I want to say how much I'm enjoying the book but the fact that it is real is nothing but sad. You sound very much like you did in Boulder. Obviously, so much has changed since then. I am very happy that you are fighting for justice. So many people would have taken the easy way and stopped. Thanks, Bill.
    Sincerely, Corey Hill (Casper).
    Cheers.

Everyone needs to go read the book that Browder wrote, one of the best and most powerful reads that I've come across

  • @askformoreinfowhichyouwont7510

@29:04 At tjis point this interview watches just like a thriller: They think that that that that. They didn't touch him, because they assumed someone had his back. That was playing with fire in the lions den.

  • @askformoreinfowhichyouwont7510

@40 sure.. 1st buy, then hand out the information for others to buy it off you.

  • @askformoreinfowhichyouwont7510

Interviewer has his own analogy - Do not go after bad guys because there will aleays be bad guys - Very ignorant and bad attitude.

Isn't Hermitage tied with the whole blackmailing Yeltisn to resign and appoint the next leader?
