Everyone has their own style of playing and take into account she's using a bigger screen so she's going to need to use more fingers to get further across the screen. I have cleared every song on Superstar Woollim on hard, all with perfect three stars, just by using my thumbs. Don't force yourself to do something you can't. Just play the game and have fun! And remember everyone has a different style of playing.
