My favorite song of hers. I relate. People constantly pressure me to cut my hair since it hangs to my shins. I'm an albino so it looks unusual and people tell me I'd be prettier with shorter hair. But I like myself as I am.

GIRL I love you! People tell me to do the same with mine to my lower back (I’m tall, so it’s longgg haha) and yeah it just kinda hangs here. Isn’t that what hair does?? It sucks thinking people might prefer me differently, but it doesn’t matter they definitely don’t notice it that much and I’m glad that’s all they have to say haha. I can cut it if I want or leave it, it’s all the same.

(& Although some would say all good art tells a story, so the term "storytime artist" may be redundant, I would heavily disagree. Some art is made with the purpose of disruption/making you angry or think/reflect on what you view as art etc, without necessarily interweaving narrative) - To me, a storytime artist would be one who takes you on a journey, somewhat guiding you themselves, or leaving clues to help you to navigate the path yourself... Whereas there can be other art that instead just gives you the ingredients without the recipe (if that analogy makes any sense?) - Both serve there purpose ❤
