This video destroys the myth. Many of those dogs are not purebreds. Some celebrities actually rather go to an animal shelter than a breeder.
In my long life I have rescued, loved and adopted my Dogs mostly from kill "shelters" and others I was lucky enough to meet to rescue. But what shocks me is the Pedigree Dogs that people pay thousands of dollars to own and then dump or abandon them to end up in the shelter suffering.
There are very few people I would chose over a Dog to share my home with happily. Most of my beloved people have gone on to their next journey.
But I was born a Dog Person.
And there is always a precious Dog who wants to move in.
Dog People are never lonely.
Paris Hilton, Keanu Reeves and Halle Berry are missing lol they literally incorporated dogs in their shows/movies. Paris Hilton is the reason why Hilton Hotels is dog friendly!
