He got held back for two year while knowing how to pick locks, stole a TIME MACHINE and chose to rob a bank and makes the same mistake every time, gets locked up in jail for 30 years, goes back in time messing with Archie before getting erased from time permanently by a paradox, and finally goes back to jail in his own time over some DAMN NACHOS.
Getting chased down and having the crap scared of them by a T-rex, I'd say that's perfect karma for Jughead, Betty and Veronica for the way that they've treated Archie the last few episodes.

In Milo Murphy's Law, Diogee peed on King Pistachion while King Pistachion was still a sapling, wiping Pistachion (and most of his lineage) out of existence, but his son, Derek, was stuck in a time vortex and wasn't wiped out. That must apply to Old Vinnie as well.

I think I understand it now. Vinny was erased from the timeline, but he himself still exists. Compare Shrek in Shrek Forever After, where he still exists but it's like he never existed. As for Future Archie taking him "BACK to jail", Archie is the only other one who remembers him.
In the end you could say he married both! What I mean is that the creators/writers decided to make two alternate endings one where he marries Veronica and one where he marries Betty. I prefer him with Veronica to be honest but everyone is entitled to their opinion

It could be the same thing as why Archie was never affected by the change in time from the previous episode, Alternate Riverdales. Both Archie and Vinnie use their own time machine but the one Vinnie has is a perfected model he could be covered with the same particles that covered Archie from the first episode. That's why he was the only one aware of the changes but seems to have "replaced" the Archie in those different timelines. But because they caused a distortion in the space time continuum, Vinnie messed up using the wrong function of his time device cause him to be removed from the time line, but he was stuck in the time vortex covered up completely in an environment of those time particles. Leaving him to be the only "Vinnie" left in existence

Predestination Paradox is what it is, you want an easy example, i give you the Gargoyles episode "MIA". Griff never returned home from the battle of london, his family blamed Goliath for his death yet he never could have met him or them back in 1940 because he was in stone sleep till the 90's, so he uses the Pheonix gate to go back in time to save him and find the answers...and the only way to do that is to eventually bring him forward through time back to the 90's...setting the above events in motion. It's the same deal here with Archie, all these events he knows about happened because he was unknowingly there to help influence them. It's basically "You cant change the past, because you already caused it" kind of deal.
