    I have the mig/stick 220 and scratch tig/stick versions of this machine, both are 110/220-120/240 and they will run amazing on 240 but will require skill on 110 to get a proper bead. .035 flux on 120 seems to be a bit hesitant but they come with a 60% duty cycle in 220/40 which is amazing for such a cheap welding machine. They're light, easy to setup and most people turn their noses at them so less likely to be stolen. I've never had peelers with such color when it comes to stick. They will run 1/8 rod just fine for hours. I can't express how impressed I am by such a cheap tool and now I have two in my garage with bottles of 80/20 AR/Co2 and AR/HE.

      Oh, I do structural and repair welding. I wouldn't doubt these will do the job with the proper power supply.

      That’s great to hear that and I agree with what there making now and the price is great for starting out . And so small right wow I started welding in 1974 and for many years it was big welding machines but 25 years ago started getting smaller. I have a miller SPL 160 does both Tig &stick very nice but 1800$ industrial machine. Ya I think 6011 would work better on 110 I haven’t tried it but 6010 doesn’t work very well . Anyway thanks for sharing and keep up the great work!

    I thought about buying one of these i see on Amazon with a lift tig,it appears to be 110 only for like 99$ it looks like it would be a decent companion to a little auto arc 185( miller with cheaper parts if researched correctly) in back seat of truck for tiny jobs or a quick cobble and putting a small amount of tig capabilities to my arsenal, i primarily run 6011 and 7018 on farm and sawmill equipment but I feel like it may be a good little back up ,get out of a pinch ,or get somewhere you cant drag your leads. Still not convinced i should buy this or change oil in truck lol. Thanks for the information on these units.

      Hi there thanks for sharing your story, Hard to make a decision on all this new welders I grew up in the early 70s learning how to weld ok in those days all machines were big and heavy, I’m glad they have smaller welders now very compact and affordable. The Tooliom 135 amp has 110 or 220 100$ works great I have a miller 160 - 1700$ but way better quality welder like you said. Hope you have a great day!

      @LetsHikeRhodeIsland Ya for auto body repair I would say Lincoln mig wire ok not flux core . Lincoln 135 amp or 175 look around for a used one but I think you are in USA right? There cheaper there If you’re looking and find one feel free to check with me glad to help you out. I’m a professional welder semi retired lol 40 years experience pipe pressure welder

    What size breaker is that 110v outlet on?

    • @kdweld8234
      @kdweld8234 Před 24 dny +2

      It’s a 15 amp breaker The mini welder has 110 and a 230 volt ok You can’t weld 1/8 for a long time it will trip the breaker. You can use 3/32 rod with 110v for small jobs ok hope this helps you thanks for sharing
