The Elites had more of a chance surviving the Juggernauts more than the brutes did.
Their shields help a lot.
@Riptor The brutes think that punching anything that doesn't have ranged attacks is a good idea, it's the same as when they're put up againts Flood Tanks in H3

could you imagine if those things made the final cut? the first juggernaut you would’ve fought would’ve been a mini boss in the heretic station and than there would’ve been numerous juggernauts from than on wherever the flood where

The Flood ambience in the background makes me feel sorry for the elites, whether they survived or not.
This would have been such a cool enemy, as well as the first pure form we ever saw. Though it does seem it would benefit from some kind of ranged attack, throwing infection forms maybe?

Juggernaut needs some kind of ranged attack.
@@zigzagpython1455 True that. But the flood are supposed to be evolutionary DNA manipulating geniuses. Like the Zerg and the Tyranids. They should be able to use existing DNA from absorbed material to make an all powerful being that can crush as well as perforate all lesser enemies.

Should make a firefight of covenant units vs flood on that level with each round getting harder But reset covenant count every round
I could do a firefight type battle on Sacred Icon with the respawning Sentinel Emitters. I did something like that in my Spec Ops Elites vs Endless Grunt Waves video.

It's a shame it got cut from the game. I'd have loved something similar to Prince of Persia Warrior Within with the Dahaka escapes where you're basically running from the thing, breezing past Covy forces, dodging past or around Brute vs Elite battles, and all the while that monstrosity is pursuing you and killing everything else that attacks it. It's not often that you see Master Chief scared of anything in-game other than losing Cortana. Having an enemy that you can't beat into submission or shoot full of holes to make it go away could have showcased a less-robotic side of him.
Then finally, you get to a large room with no obvious way out but with ample obstacles the player can use to their advantage in a fight and you'd either trick it into a trap and somehow take the floor out from under it, making it fall into the abyss below, or else maybe stuff some kind of high-explosive into it and blast it to pieces, finally putting a stop to it. You'd get some cutscene of Chief uncovering a lift that had been hidden by debris and leaving through the roof or something.
but we didn't get that. Oh well.

Because there are no Elites on this mission however there is a biped so I made custom AI.
