I'm replacing a bad engine mount on the timingbelt side of the engine, this is a very simple task. The old one had a temporary fix where i filled it up with a silicone type of engine sealer, it didn't work out.

It's amazing what a engine mount can do. I thought there was some problem with the motor, vibrating very badly, took me 1 hour but now the car goes smooth. I bought the engine mount on aliexpress for $60 Australian. Here in Australia it costs a fortune. Anyway I'm happy now. Thanks for the video 😊

it seems if you don't buy a quality one, it won't last too much time

Did you use a rattle gun to get the bolts off and was it just 18 mill size ?

I have had 3 Renault mark 2 Scenic and this mount seems to always have a lot of movement on it from new. It is very easy to push the engine back and forth with your hand.

Yes, I noticed this on my Megane II, even with the original new part I replaced. I've never seen anything so soft. Other models and brands are not as soft as this one.

Mehdi Dahmani I'm not sure what it is. I think it's some kind of tag that contains information. It doesn't have any mechanical purpose.

Sounds more like a engine balancing problem than a engine mount problem
