    Yes. LDH is not needed at many incidents. We have options for attack line, 1.75”, 2”, etc.; why not for supply line?
    Why is Pressure the default mode for two-stage pumps and not Volume? It’s because most fires don’t require 300-450 GPM.
    We don’t have to be mindless automatons, reflexively stretching and re-loading 4-5” at every fire.

      The key is just knowing your equipment and being able to “match what you have/will have with what you got.”
