Olympia is so freakin hype. All of the stuff she has feels great to hit. She's the reason I want to learn Rivals and get into competitive. She's that great

The thing i love about olympia is the fact that she is a "fighting game character" with all the ground strengths that brings, but she still has a decent upair. Same reason I love anglara
This character is literally Makoto from Sf3 and Usf4, Love it.
Olympia is one of my favorite characters to play as from workshop, if not my favorite. Her moves are so fun to chain, and her spike moves are satisfying to hit with! i cant wait to start maining her when she comes to the base cast later in the year!!

Loving the new series! i've been getting into workshop recently and your videos are a huge help in that, especially when you go so in depth into each character's kit
I've loved this character for ages in workshop, can't wait to play her officially
She's a diamond punch she's a strong combat lack with speed and use more defense and strategy than offense and abilities.
The fact her neutral special got changed bums me out
I much prefer this format to the silent movelist videos.

I'm actually doing these coinciding with an event in the Extended Workshop Discord called Daily Meta, which is currently focused on the characters in Top 16 of Wonderwall, a tournament featuring the 50 best workshop players.
Funnily enough, Pomme and Hodan are also on the list anyway, so they'll get covered eventually here. Mollo... I'm not sure but I might do one just because (also I'm gonna main him so I probably should lol)

It feels irresponsible to talk about Olympia without talking about Side B jump cancels. Side B JC aireals and Side B wavedash are core to Olympia’s kit.
I understand if you omitted that because side B jump cancel is being removed from base cast Olympia, but this guide will certainly be outdated in other ways (even if it’s just the gameplay footage) when Olympia becomes base cast.
Wait how do you know Side b JC is gonna be removed in base cast?
@@somecallmejoey01 nobody has done it in any publicly available footage, and I know people who have played the base cast version and they verified it.
