Wow! I watched so many of Dr. Osborne's videos on youtube, and I must say that he and his team are beyond amazing. Dr. Osborne should get the Noble Prize for performing miracles and saving people's lives. America needs more people like him unlike some of the greedy and selfish doctors out there who only care about money by aiding insurance companies and pharmaceuticals to rip patients off. Kudos to Dr. Osborne and his team!
Awesome job by Dr. Osborne and his staff. Not only did they offer compassion and their knowledge to this patient. They freely gave of their time and skill and preformed a life changing surgery. Now this is what medicine is about. GOD bless you all.
I am not a huge religious person but I believe these doctors are amazing and they have been blessed with a special gift, their skill and compassion to help others.
As someone who has had 4 surgeries related to Eagles Syndrome, I can tell you that a) it was very difficult to find a surgeon willing to take a complicated case like mine and b) my case was further complicated by being post fusion for cervical stenosis and resulting unilateral vocal cord paralysis. My styloid was intermittently calcified so it took a while get all of the fragments but it appears like we got it -- finally. Thanks for Dr. Paniello at Barnes Jewish Hospital and Washington University in St. Louis.
I had most portions taken out but there are some left and I don't know if those are still causing pain. Do you take any medication now for permanent nerve pain?
Thanks to the whole team for saving a mans life!! I understand his sentence: „I want my life back.“ I really recognize it from my life. I‘m glad he got it back!!!
I have eagle syndrome. Everything this guy said, I absolutely relate to. Dismissive doctors, far off appointments, and of course that deep, deep, suicidal dread. It took many months just to figure out what it was, I had multiple CT Scans and an MRI and they failed to see it over and over. Finally I made a list of all the rare illnesses it might be and sent it to my otolaryngologist and begged him to have radiology check again for them. I got word back that they discovered my styloid process' were twice as long as they should be. Then it took months after that to convince my otolaryngologist to give the go ahead for the surgery. As of the time of writing this, my surgery will be 3 days from now, on 1/26/23. I'm honestly terrified, a lot can go wrong, and it's a really rare procedure. There are no experts in styloidectomies. If you're reading this, please give comforting replies. I could really use them. I will give an update as to how the surgery went sometime in the future. EDIT: Update in replies
By now you have already had your surgery. I am wondering how you are doing. I am having my surgery on February 22, 2023 along with csf leak repair and jugular vein decompression. Prayers for full and speedy recovering for you and your quality of life improving 100%.
@@jeanmjones6610 The surgery went well! The pain is finally gone, and I totally forgot to give an update to this comment. I will go do that now. Good luck on your surgery, it will be worth it!
It is now 2/11/23, it has been over 2 weeks since the surgery. It went perfectly! The pain is gone, the wound is nearly healed, I can get back to my life. My main concerns involved the possibility of neuralgia, since the glossopharyngeal nerve is so close to the styloid, it is possible it can be irritated or damaged. Luckily what little nerve pain I did experience went away as the wound healed. I had also heard that this procedure might cause a change to ones voice or ability to swallow, I'm glad to say that I'm having no problems with either. Everything went perfectly. Recovery was a bit rough, swallowing hurt while the wound was new, I had a lot of nausea, the wound was pretty painful for a long time, the scabs hurt quite a bit when they peeled off, but all that is over now. I'm cured.

I have been very sad since the loss of my husband six months ago. I thought of creating a grateful jar and each day adding that slip of paper acknowledging the good in my life. For all of Doctor Osborne’s patients, my Grateful jar will include his name today..
I can't thank you enough for helping this Veteran. Dr. Osborne, you are so gifted and a very beautiful human being. It would have been devastating for you as well as the patient for surgery not to have the ideal outcome, but you move ahead anyway. I pray for a day we won't have to send a soldier in harm's way - total peace in the world.
As a retired Chief Warrent Officer fm the Coast Guard 30 yrs of service. Thank you so much for taking care of us Veterans. My son who is also a Veteran fm the Army has been diagnosed with Gleoblastomia Multiform. Right side of his head. He has been with us now for 2 yrs. They originally gave him 13 months. I'm grateful everyday we get to have him. Many Blessings to Dr. OSBORNE and his team and all the other civilian docs who step up to the plate, to help us spend one more day with our families. Thank you so much for “DOING SOMETHING “. It happens to be something awesome, but your compassion and seeing his need and not ignoring him is wonderful. I come from a military family. My Mom , Dad, Brother and Husband all served in the armed forces. I have lived all over the world and most of the time away from family. Once again, thank you for using your God given abilities to serve one of those who has served our country. May God Bless you all, your families and your practice.

He needed a treatment placement specialist, who would have researched the service that fitted his needs, but I've learned that speciality service is not a common service- unfortunate right?. Vets are treated like anyone on any given day at Walmart. They go to get specific things but the check out lines are long, a few cashiers are working hard to get you out quickly, some are working with a built in attitude and too busy complaining and or isn't really working at all; others are on personal phones calls talking boldly on the clock (stealing time) playing like they are working. I’m a veteran who had been waiting for months to get a nerve study test on my arms and neck. My arms go numb and go to sleep all the time. I know something is wrong with me I can feel it and my life sucks right now because of the pain I’m in. I feel just like this guy did. Some days I do t want to wake up because of the pain. I wake up in pain and go to bed and bedding. Anybody who’s not know what pain can do to your body and your life doesn’t understand it is messed my marriage up I’ll work up my relationship with my kids everything about my life these nerve pain is messed up
Seek and upper cervical chiropractor specializes in helping neck and nerver pain. All nervers are controlled through the spine. But it must be an good one check reviews. Upper cervical chiropractor are not like regular ones. They focus on your top 2 neck bones to align the whole spine in place to take pressure off nervers.
WHY can governments not take care of their veterans. Did they not risk....and sometimes lose....their lives to protect their country? These people have done so much and our governments disregard and disrespect them like they are a second thought. These people need full and proper medical care and they need their life and homes, they don't ask for more than they deserve. We have the same problem here in Canada and it's so frustrating, it's like the government doesn't see them, they have become invisible. For the love of God, help these people, they helped us! This is such an embarassment to our countries.
Thank you very much Mister veteran who stands out with his problem and puts words on an incredibly important issue: Veteran help when they get home. I am incredibly happy that now is in good health again 💕 Thank you very much to Dr. Osborne And his team For giving him the help that he needed to become a human being again living a life without pain and depression I've seen you work on the worst cases of illness in the 3 world and here in America Europe all around in the world with the sickdome cases that no doctors dare to touch Thank you so much for being there and I hope that more doctors are inspired by you and help veterans and other unique cases for free Big hug from a big admirer in Norway
This video bra ng tears to my eyes. I can't believe how are Veterans are being treated. Something has to be done about this. But, I truly love watching these videos. Because the Doctors in the videos really truly care. More Doctors out there need to Care
I have been watching several videos of dr Osborne’s & his teams work. They are very gifted doctors god bless them for the work they do. Dr Osborne is such a soft spoken man & so understanding of the patients. 🙏🙏🙏
I’ve been searching for the right word to describe Dr. Osborne. All the other adjectives in these posts - yes, of course. But I wanted a word that encompassed the man himself, the man total. Got it: NOBLE. Dr. Osborne is a noble human being. Knowledge, wisdom, grace, kindness, dignity, empathy. Is he a perfect person? I certainly hope not! He is, however, a gathering of wondrous qualities. His patients, family, colleagues, and friends have a noble being in their midst. Be aware and be grateful. I’m so happy this young Navy vet found OHNI & relief from his pain. I and my 33-year-old son are USMC veterans, both service connected. My dominant hand was maimed & my kid came out with various ortho issues, deafness in one ear, a surgically rebuilt shoulder, and lung damage. We both rely on the V.A. for our healthcare. It’s a big, wooly, bureaucratic system. They do the best they can - but the fact of the matter is there are too many veterans with too many needs & the V.A. does a piss-poor job of retaining professional staff like physicians, surgeons, NPs, & RNs. Why? Stress, responsibility, & metric tons of bureaucracy for not enough pay & not enough resources to adequately care for millions of veterans. Low morale, burn-out, frustration. I feel bad for them. They DO care. I’ve had great docs & nurses over the years, & a few who weren’t so great. Nothing is perfect.
Thank you Dr. Osborne for what you do for the community. My friend would benefit from your expertise. He is also a veteran with similar issues with his throat and no one is able to help him. He seems to have lost hope and constantly deals with pain
Dr. Osborne, you are a wonderful, caring physician. I have recently been diagnosed with Eagle Syndrome and you have my complete respect and attention! I pray I don't need surgery. However, if that becomes my reality I will be reaching out to you! Thank you for your helping our vets, who are responsible for the opportunities we are so fortunate to have in the USA!
I finally got diagnosed after years of pain… Doctors make you feel like you are making it up. I did surgery on both shoulders just with the chance it would help and had my tonsils out. I’m nervous, but excited at the same time. Get surgery in less than a month.
2 years later and wait times have barely gotten any better, treatment availability hasn’t gotten much better. Thank god for amazing people like Dr Osborne
Thanks for the great job you are doing to all the people who ask for you.!!!! It touch me this video since Shane is a Figueroa like me ... and We the Figueroa's are strong..... Thanks Dr for helping him....May the Source of Universe blessed you and all the staff....... Many Chocohugs..... from Belgium, Europe........ Rosa Figueroa
Thank You Dr Osborn & Family for taking the risk and preforming this surgery, as the wife of a retired veteran in our area in Va I see it all the time the wait we are seen at the Naval Hospital instead of the VA but the military insurance Tricare we are being sent to private Dr.’s more & more & paying more & more out of pocket so much that most Dr’s don’t take it much.
So I’m writing this down because I see all the comments about eagle syndrome which I currently have I got mine months after a work injury normally it takes a while but I had ct scans that showed nothing there and months after a head and neck injury it started calcifying and it’s horrible eagle syndrome is hell on earth and I’m having a surgery on July 10th and I’ve never been so excited to get something done in my life
You are a strong and brave veteran. The Government of the USA should be so ashamed. The doctors and staff at the clinic are amazing. The VA needs to do a better job. I am Canadian and i thank you for your service.
WoW, another succes story....You are a Master Surgeon Dr.Osborne! You and your whole team have to be on the Nobel Peace Prize list....🥇🎖I love you all from the bottom of my heart(although these stories always make me cry! LoL😢😂) God Bless all of your minds, spirits and hearts(and hands!!). Best wishes send from Canada from a patient who had a Parotid Tumour removed by another fabulous Surgeon Dr.Rotstein at Princess Margaret Hospital in Toronto.🙏🏼🍀♥️👋🏼🇨🇦
Dear doctor, I believe there are few people on this earth that may really be angles in disguise and I think you may be one of them. Not only to you LISTEN and HEAR the patients you treat, but you ACT and bring Hope and Healing. God bless and keep you and may his face shine upon you and be gracious to you and your amazing team.
I have calcification on both of my ligaments and glossopharyngeal neuralgia. I’m going to see an eagle doctor too see if I’m going for a n operation. I’m in horrible pain. Just lying in my bed and want the pain to end either what way. Hopefully I get healthy again.
😭😭I’m going through the same thing every day in pain it’s terrible and I haven’t had any good doctors who want to help all they say it’s your anxiety I never had it until now I’m terrified of the unknown and doctors just treating me like if my health doesn’t matter to them💔 but this video made me tear up it was beautiful! 🙏🏼 the Lord was with with the surgeon and the patient..🙏🏼🙏🏼
Dr. Osborne, thank you for caring attitude toward our veterans. As a Viet Nam veteran I've been exposed to Agent Orange, but have never contacted the VA just for the reasons you outlined. Making a difference for just one veteran is a wonderful thing.
Amazing story and it warms my heart see you helping veterans. Being an expert on this syndrome, as rare as it is you seem like a great doctor. If you really wanted to help the vast majority of veterans, you could make the greatest impact by working with the insurance companies to accept TriCare seeing as that is the what most have. Just some food for thought
God bless you darling. I feel for you and I live with pain to . You did the right thing fighting for a life your so young . God bless you again. I am so happy the surgery went well for you. You deserve it all the best for your future.love from Australia 👍👍👍👍👍👍🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰 thank you for sharing your courage and pain
They not in any network with any insurance, you have to pay from our own pockets. They asking 44K for both sides surgery to remove Styloids calcified (Eagle syndrome). $250 for consultation fee and additional fee $75 for another consultation, so everytime u want to talk to dr u have to pay more additional fee :-(
Sadly I gotta have that same surgery and I do not trust any doctor in my country, I understand the frustration and pain he was going trough, I’m glad he’s better now, hopefully there’s hope for me too 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

You are all a blessing! Every time you post a video, I find a little more hope and reasons to keep holding on. Thank you, thank you, thank you! 💜
Thank you very much Mister veteran who stands out with his problem and puts words on an incredibly important issue: Veteran help when they get home. I am incredibly happy that now is in good health again 💕
Thank you very much to Dr. Osborne And his team For giving him the help that he needed to become a human being again living a life without pain and depression
I've seen you work on the worst cases of illness in the 3 world and here in America Europe all around in the world with the sickdome cases that no doctors dare to touch
Thank you so much for being there and I hope that more doctors are inspired by you and help veterans and other unique cases for free
Big hug from a big admirer in Norway
You are amazing. I have followed your channel for a while and how you help people in dire need is wonderful. Keep up the excellent work you do.
Thank you for doing followups on your surgical patients, and for taking on the most challenging cases.
God Bless you Shane. Thank you so much for your service to our country. ❤️☮️
Thank you my hero Dr Osborn and Team....looking after my fellow Veterans.
Great job Dr. Osborne and I so glad you could him. Thanks for sharing and have a very nice day. God has blessed you Dr.
They should get the care they need from where ever they need to go,
It was a blessing that you cared enough to start this hospital Doctor Osborne
Amazed, grateful, thankful, speechless. Heros
I hope you're still doing well Shane
Happy he got the needed help. 🙏🏽 was diagnosed with Eagles syndrome last year. I’m in daily pain. I don’t know where to begin🥺
Stay strong! I have the eagle syndrome too and it’s hard to deal with it and the constant pain. Hold on!!
Start with an ENT? Maybe visit Dr. O's site? I’m sure he has a contact form that someone in his office can see.
God Bless and Keep you Dr.Osborne and Sue for being the receiving hearted person for this young man's trouble. God Bless and keep each of you.
Thank Dr.'s & staff for saving another life. I love you videos
Its always a pleasure to watch your surgeries. Wonderful doctors.
Thank you Dr. Osborne & team for all you do
GOD bless Dr. Osborne and his team!
Thank you Dr. Osborne for what you do for the community. My friend would benefit from your expertise. He is also a veteran with similar issues with his throat and no one is able to help him. He seems to have lost hope and constantly deals with pain
Dr. Osborne, you and your teams are some kind of team, and super humans. I never miss your channel. Much admiration to you all. 🥰🦋🦋🦋🦋
Courage and humanity on all sides. Thank you for this story.🙏🏼💗
I am so glad that vetrans today are able to get help they need now. Its still not easy, but at least its possible now.
Awesome job.
You are a god send on the people you lay your hands on ...God Bless You and your crew
.
God richly bless you Dr Osborne and your team.
Dr Hamton, taking yr oath to heart, cause no harm, never give up on a case. Tears of joy.
I am blessed my experience with the VA has never been a problem at all. My heart breaks when I hear these stories.
So glad he found ohni 🙏🏽
He's so happy, thanks God for these Dr's that make people's life's a lot easier.
Thanks for your service
Again a beautiful amazing Surgeon, not only to do the job you do but your heart is huge Dr Osborne ❤️, love watching from Australia
God bless you and your team Dr. Osborne.
I needed five separate surgeries for my Eagles Syndrome/ GPN. I am glad your patient got the help he really needed from a specialized surgeon.
I too am grateful. My right side had hurt the longest, when they went in to remove it..it had attached to my jaw.
I have calcification on both of my ligaments and glossopharyngeal neuralgia. I’m going to see an eagle doctor too see if I’m going for a n operation. I’m in horrible pain. Just lying in my bed and want the pain to end either what way. Hopefully I get healthy again.
@@annablennow3889 Removing the calcified bone, will glossopharyngeal neuralgia be cured?
@@MarceloFerreira-wh9we hopefully!
This gives me hope that we can keep pushing thru VA or someone will be able to help my sister.
You doctors are so wonderful. I thank God for you.
Good bless Doctor Osborne and his team
Dr. Osborne, thank you for caring attitude toward our veterans. As a Viet Nam veteran I've been exposed to Agent Orange, but have never contacted the VA just for the reasons you outlined. Making a difference for just one veteran is a wonderful thing.
Thank you Dr Osborne for helping shane xxx
THANK YOU DR. OSBORN AND. STAFF YOUR A DIFFRANT KIND OOF. DR. WITH. WINGS
I salute these wonderful Dr.`s
Osborn and Hamilton are the living example of what doctors are supposed to be. God bless and care for them both. Forever ❤
Thank u for yr service
God bless you darling. I feel for you and I live with pain to . You did the right thing fighting for a life your so young . God bless you again. I am so happy the surgery went well for you. You deserve it all the best for your future.love from Australia 👍👍👍👍👍👍🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰 thank you for sharing your courage and pain
You guys are awesome.
Amazing work!❤
You guys are awesome! You guys helped the lead singer of
Iprevial! This band has saved me in more ways than one! Yall are awesome ❤
Your videos are so inspiring I wish you guys will do more demonstrative surgeries for us❤as ENT doctors.
What a shame you had to go thru this! Gods blessings!
They not in any network with any insurance, you have to pay from our own pockets. They asking 44K for both sides surgery to remove Styloids calcified (Eagle syndrome). $250 for consultation fee and additional fee $75 for another consultation, so everytime u want to talk to dr u have to pay more additional fee :-(
Sadly I gotta have that same surgery and I do not trust any doctor in my country, I understand the frustration and pain he was going trough, I’m glad he’s better now, hopefully there’s hope for me too 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
Have you had your surgery yet? I hope you’ve found help somehow. 💞
Can I ask what your symptoms are?
I had mine down by Katlin Stepan northwestern hospital in Chicago and she’s great
@@WorldMysteryTourz how are you doing now? Was it done recently?
@@jonibrownadkins249 no issues. If your in the US I recommend her. She does them all the time. I had bilateral
Dr. You are amazing!
