Been going to PRDP since late 1990s.I work security past 3 years at Tiffany's,work part time at Rockefeller Center so able to see the parade by work area.
Wow! Way more ppl assisted than previous years. NYPD and CBS just inform that assistance was approximately more than 1.5 million and without any violence incidents. It was packed and organized.

The residents of the usa should be able to vote whether to continue to occupy Puerto Rico as a colony or leave Puerto Rico and let it become an independent country.
Actually all Puerto Ricans are US citizens so they're able to vote for president just not locally in the territory. They just need a US residency. You know move back migration, not immigration. Just so you know I'm not trying to offend you or insult you. Thanks

The USA fear is an independent Puerto Rico will end up in Cuba's and Russian and Chinese orbit. Puerto Rico as it is now will continue almost 50% of the population on welfare. The USA loses no matter what decision it makes and that's why it won't make any decision.
U.S citizens don't and shouldn't have a say in that.
The USA invests (IT'S NOT A GIFT) aproximatelly $22B/yr in PR.
Out of that investment makes a profit of aproximatelly $76B/yr.
It’s the equivalent of being able to milk the cow without buying it so why would they (USA) want to change that situation?
