First analysis video from Library of Ruina. I chose a song that I'm very familiar with and LOVE to talk about. From a Place of Love. Also known as the Love Town battle theme. @snowysnowwish pretty much introduced me to music by Mili. We listened to Duetting Solo recently and I did a song analysis of it. I also do analysis of songs on my Twitch (Twitch.com/everythingfantasy). Anyway, it made me get the idea of doing a video analysis of From a Place of Love and really break it down! It was a fun piece to explore and really dissect the lyrics of as well as understand how the song is made. It certainly has many layers

In the LoR birthday interview with Cassie, she says the outsider's meaning of this song would be about arranged marriages. If we were to interpret it this way, the arranged marriage of the singer (of the lyrics' story, not Cassie) gave them fear, regret, and despair. The context fits to the statements "It ain't family biz / Get over it" (you don't have a choice) and "Inside the train, we walked down the aisle" (I guess this refers to when you have to walk rows of seats to the front in a marriage?). I wouldn't have interpreted it like this since it was so vague, so Cassie's explanation really opened up everything
That's so interesting! With that context a lot of the lyrics can so easily be applied to an arranged marriage. Thanks for the background. I hadn't come across that interview before
Mili Songs sure are something, they have double meanings so that any way to intrepet them can technically be right
Indirectly, the song could be intrepeted as 2 Couples who actually does love each other, but are being in a arranged marriage
If we are talking about THE GAME, the song become quite litteral, including their "Favorite Drink" and "Should not go inside the train"(They really shouldn't)
Same goes to Children of the city being about a Song where you have to follow specific orders in the city when in the game, its quite litteraly just random nonsense that The Index Prescript randomly give or take

Something I feel needs to be said is that the percusion during the "We stick together" part is made in such a way that it sounds like the wheels of a train, just more spaced out. Would be surprised if it was just coincidence
