Metal has helped me in many ways.
Its really good coping material, to me it helps me with my anger. Music is destructive so I dont need to break anything myself.
Slipknot and Korn music literally saved my life.

@@chickinagg9141 Happy to oblige my dude. And yes I'm doing good now. I used to do a lot of writing as well. Still do from time to time. I'm a man now and have 4 beautiful children. 2 of them aren't biologically mine but they're mine if you know what I mean. Their dad bailed on them too. But it took me a long time to be okay. Most of my life actually. I was a cutter as a kid. It followed me into my 20s. Even to this day at 35 years old when I'm depressed enough the thoughts of cutting still creep in my head. Life sucks sometimes... most of the time. But there's beauty to be found in the world. We just gotta lift our heads to see it. I just woke up and seen you responded to message. I know we dnt know each other (obviously) lol. But my friend if you ever need to talk. I'm here.
