And I don't think he's really blaming anyone other than probably Apple for not giving enough time/budget to make the show as perfect as he'd like. Which I agree with. There's a reason why Stranger Things is so successful. The team is given enough budget and time with each season to make it spectacular. How many shows take 3-4 years between each season? None, yet Stranger Things has proven that fans are willing to wait if their patience is paid off.

Just wanted to send some love. You guys are dope put together an awesome channel! As someone who really wanted to have a career in this field ever since I was a youngster but never made it. Now a father of 3 and married in Kansas and we’ll never make it out to LA, it’s just really awesome to have this channel in my world! I thank you! Project power with Jamie fox would be cool for vfx artist react as far as a recommendation though! Keep killing it!

YES! I went to school for computer animation in the late 90's/early 2000's. I ended up in graphic design but I adore getting these looks into the industry I almost went into.

You guys should take a look at the opening credits of Vertigo. It's supposedly the first use of CGI with a live-action film. It's stunning to see knowing that it's from 1958.

Good suggestion. Given there was no CGI back then, the swirls are nicely done. Most likely with a function generator on a screen, and then tinted. Or drawn out to avoid any flicker of the screen. Hmm 🤔

The title sequence was done using slit photography, which is all in-camera. Computers, at that time, were doing computations on punch cards

It's more inspired by the books rather than an adaptation of them, which is pretty disappointing. The best part in s01 was the subplot they made up from scratch.

Great 16-minute advertisement for the TV show Foundation. Only halfway kidding, you still managed to break down interesting FX, from the actual show runners! I would have loved to watch the show runners react to stuff they didn’t work on too (then it would have felt less like a commercial). I love this channel, and always watch the extended versions on the website/app. Thanks for another great “React” video!

11:13 Honestly, I didn’t really notice the pillars moving and think something was off. The location makes the pillars looks like old distressed dock or building supports. I could easily imagine that over time, the foundations could be loose.
Loved this episode. Everyone is so humble and ok with calling out the hiccups and visually off moments. Makes me appreciate their work even more.

One detail that I'm surprised you didn't mention on the canoe shot. The canoe is now in the water, but the water ripples beneath it are still displaced and reflecting light as normal. Even a masked filter to removed most of the reflections would've looked better. Nit-pick I know, but this is the show for it. Love the show.

I "starred" in a Netflix show a couple years ago. It was a docuseries, so I didn't have to do a performance. I just sat in a big comfy chair on the set and talked about my childhood and the situation I was in at that time. It was an awesome set that took a ton of effort and expertise to create, the camera operators and the lighting crew were perfectly on point and the sound guys were so prepared and meticulous that it all made me realize that my audio/video equipment at home (that I was pretty proud of) was the equivalent of Fisher Price kids toys in comparison. The makeup room looked like a damn store in there, with hundreds of different shades of the same thing to mix and match so they could make any color or shade of any type of makeup they require..
The whole production was like a very well engineered machine and every part of it was working together seamlessly. But then it came time to start shooting, and I felt like a gigantic douche when I was brought to the set and the Director/Showrunner introduced me as "The Talent".. That was a moment of embarrassment I'll never forget. I know that's the technical term and blah blah.. But any one of those people on set had more talent in their pinky fingers than I have in my whole body, and it just felt so disrespectful to the ACTUAL talents on display by the crew.. I think the crew should be called "the talent" and the actors can take any other pretentious title they want. Actors that show actual, tangible talent are pretty far between in mainstream cinema these days anyway (imo)..
    ok, rant over.
TLDR: Calling the actors on a film set "The Talent" feels like calling Milli Vanilli good musicians. The real talent was the musicians behind the curtain, not the guys hopping around on the stage.

I think it is fascinating hearing which shots the creators wish the could "fix."
I think have a regular question to ask them "Which shot do you wish you could go back & adjust the most."
You do ask this essentially some times & they spoke about it alot in this one. I think just keep it up. Love all your work & vibes btw. Cheers
