The "Blue Building" that gave you the creeps when entering Reliegos, happens to be an icon on the Camino Francés. Bar "La Torre", better known as "Elvis Bar", is definitively worth to pay a visit. It serves good food and beer, plays good music and the guy who runs it is a real entertainer and treats pilgrims as if it were his own children. The inner walls are covered with all kinds of spiritual wisdom. Please also do not forget that Reliegos made history for the whole of Spain. Back in 1947 a meteorite rock landed on this tiny village. A piece, that was stolen 60 years ago, was offered for sale on the internet (27500 EURO) in the year 2021.
I’m sure we would have had a completely different take in the Elvis Bar if it would have been open.
