      @@737simviator honestly I find it a bit archaic, even expanding in nature. Hopefully the future is now and at one point majority of people will both move across the surface as well as trough the air and water.
      I do not use the word "driver" because I just don't use that word as an individual exclusively used to "aviator" or "pilot" for the subject at hand the same way you are - though I can see how it's just another manifestation of the evermore intense enrichment of the human language within a rapid shift in mass consciousness ensuing in the recent years.
      A few days ago my 11yo finished building his first PC - he's especially proud of how he handled every single part that he "unscrewed" (wtf ?!) and removed, afterwards precisely remembering how and where to put it back in place within the case.
      Also, at school he and his best friend are quite active within various group activities related to the betterment of "peoplekind" (wtf ?!).
      So, yeah, I actually see and I'm starting to get it...CRJ pilot, CRJ driver...interesting times, come on man. :-)

    Will you have weathered textures? It will help a lot on realism as this sim is a bit too clean

    • @MilanPutnik
      @MilanPutnik Před 3 lety

      That's an upcoming feature of the simulator itself - at least stuff such as dust, snow and various other materials' accumulation both short term and in the long run as a persistent simulation the same way as the icing effects that are present since the release of MSFS.
      Of course, in case we want weathered or even heavily worn out looking airplane, there will be such livery variations to pick from as there already is for majority of other airplanes.
      To weather or age an already existing livery makes for one of the easiest things accomplished within a few hours by a skilled Photoshop artist - don't worry. :-)

    • @Flyer0245
      @Flyer0245  Před 2 lety

      Define fully operational. It is a piece of entertainment software that simulates flying an CRJ in a game. Not every switch works and you will not find indepth system logic that rivals professional full flight simulators. But it gives you a good impression of what it is like to fly an CRJ IRL.

    Hi, 2 questions:
    Why you need hydraulic power when on ground?
    When there is no hydraulic power (the plane si completly shut down) I can still move the flight controls, is this normal?

    • @Flyer0245
      @Flyer0245  Před 3 lety

      You "need" hydraulics for the inboard brakes and when you want to move the rudder, ailerons, and elevator. It is a standard FSX/P3D/MSFS bug that these flight controls move without HYD power in the sims.

    • @Flyer0245

      You can set the default load state in the EFB. Go to the AIRCRAFT tab in the EFB and look in the lower right corner. The button is called "default state" and just click this state pictogram to cycle through the various states. Next time you load the CRJ it will be in the state you selected.

    • @Flyer0245

      The XFR switch transfers AP control from one Flight Control Computer to the other. The CRJ has two of them and you can see by the arrow next to the AP text on the PFD which one is "active".
      The TURB mode reduces the "gain" or sensitivity of the AP commands. It smooths out the AP outputs a bit as to not overly agressive correct for every flightpath deviation due to turbulence.

      Everything is relative. I personally find the price a steal for what you get. But than again it is not ultra cheap and some mods like FBW and WT will give you more or less the same for free. If you really want to fly an CRJ then go for it but do not expect a fully functioning type rating trainer for that price. If you want to fly around with a "sort of CRJ" then download the free WT CJ4 mod and cut your teeth into that one. It is truly excellent.
