I had a massive crush on Torrie, since her WWE debut in 2001. I liked Stephanie a lot, Trish and Stacy. But, Torrie was my biggest crush for ages and I was 12 years old at the time.
Its crazy listening to her. You can tell to this day she's traumatized, some what ashamed, and not too confident about her time there. Goes to show they weren't treating her right in there. Im just happy shes still here!

You know what I dont get about all this Vince lawsuit thing. The chick he hired could have quit the moment he started doing whatever it was he did. She accepted the gifts, the money and she agreed to sign the NDA. No one forced her to do anything she did not want to do. Now Im not agreeing with what Vince did or has done. He has more skeletons in his closet then anyone with all the crap WWE has pulled over the years. But I just want to say Janel Grant is not innocent in any of this either.

Now Vince may argue she broke so he stopped paying. He clearly thought he was invincible and thought he would get by unscathed.

I really love that Chris has a platform to make a lot of us revisit our childhood and get answers to questions that were unanswered when growing up. I wondered so many things about these superstars' lives and personalities. I love this interview and Torrie is just such a pure and humble human being.

I remember wanting to be like the divas when I was a little girl but cringing so hard because of their bikini contests or bras and panties matches. It’s incredible what Vince and crew put these ladies through. I did love when Torrie began wrestling more.

Thanks so much for this interview Chris! Torrie, Dawn, Nidia, & Shaniqua were the only women’s wrestling I could watch from 02-03 because I didn’t have access to TNN/Spike TV. I always saw and appreciated how hard they worked to put matches together seeing as all of them had limited wrestling experience. Whether it was straight up wrestling matches or the T&A matches, they tried so hard to put as much wrestling into their matches as they could to entertain the fans and I was thoroughly entertained. It’s such a shame that they get crap from fans today because of the weird T&A stuff they had to do as if they weren’t talented or as if they were useless. They did what they could with what they were given.
Feel really bad for her. You can tell wrestling messed with her bad. She’s brave just for doing this interview and being this honest. Chris did a great job adjusting to her … great talk

Considering you may have spent a lot of time being naive to what was a tough/dark industry at times, you pushed on, worked hard and stayed true to yourself by doing nothing but being you! As a young boy that was a massive fan, now as an adult with kids even something like Kevin Nash noticing you for “eye candy” feels slimy but those were the times and it did give a lot of women the opportunity they were looking for. I can completely understand your viewpoint on the industry back then and how it makes you feel now but always be proud!
