But I seen a video from 2019 where a guy bought some a lot of 2019 heritage and he had dozens of flip stocks apparently the manufacturer messed up and made more than they were supposed to. He had a dozen of those Eloy's.
I have a question about the 2024 Heritage cards, where i pulled a couple variations where they write “white border” above the card #, but the cards have red boarders? Do know anything about those
That's a good question. That'll be your best indicator that it's a flip stock. Obviously I can't guarantee it's a flip stock as a general rule, but I'd compare to base cards and you should be able to see/feel a notable difference. Good luck!
Ok, so are they also in the higher numbered cards as well? Because I Bought 2 boxes the other day and ALL of them were flat on front, including a Whitt Jr!
The lowered numbered boxes I got were mixed pretty good but, found quite a few FS cards! If the high cards have FS cards as well I have at least 100 FS cards!!!
It's hard to say without seeing them in person. I would just compare them to the base cards as closely as you can. Topps should really be numbering these...huge misstep on their part, IMO.
@@ultramodernbaseball heritage is what I've bought the most of. I can tell the difference pretty quick looking at the front or back. I definitely have lots of flips. Now to try and sell em lol.
I don't think they were aware of it. It's a new-ish LCS, and this was a three-row bargain box. So I'm guessing they bought it in bulk and didn't know how to price a rando unnumbered Jake Odorizzi card. Probably figured it was a base card and slapped a .50 cent sticker on it. You dig through enough bargain boxes, you find all kinds of interesting things!

I bought the 2017 topps heritage base set and found the number 1 card was a flip stock sp batting leaders card. I knew right away when they put the set together, they overlooked the card as a base card. Simply chalked it up as an error in my favor lol

I'm not sure...that's a good question. I'd have to imagine someone else out there had found a similar issue.

For this one, it's probably not worth the ROI. But, if you ever stumbled upon a nice rookie or even a star player, it might be a good idea.

So the flip stock will absorb more light, and the regular will have the light right refractor more?

I was checking to see if a card I got was a flip stock. It has a different code, it’s last 4 numbers are 0931. 2022 heritage. Any ideas. TIA

So your lcs knew it was a card that's one of only 5 and they thought 50 cents was a good price? Seems a bit sus. I'll have to check mine regardless.
