- Last Wednesday, January 10, four people had gone to the foothills of Churachandpur and never came back. They were gunned down by unidentified assailants. The victims were identified as Oinam Romen, Ahanthem Romen, Thoudam Ibomcha and Thoudam Anand. An unidentified video went viral on social media, were few armed people could be seen claiming ownership of the act and celebrating the deaths of the four victims. NTT met with the distressed families of the victims, who questioned "When will the spate in violence come to an end in Manipur, when will the prime minister visit Manipur?"

I don't understand manipuri but I can feel the pain in their words , tears are flowing in my eyes watching them . Where is humanity? Why this hatred towards other humans. Govt raising slogans for God and in a happy mood and here many have lost their livelihood and future. Shame on us for living such a shameful life. Rejoicing when many are drowning in tears.
