О ужас. Ну кто так собирает. Можно же было погуглить. Есть же видео как собрать разобрать. Там не надо ничего откручивать. Просто нужно снять подставку и все. Дело 2х минут. Снизу есть защелки. Нужно просто разобраться и запомнить принцип работы.

And about procedure explained by you and which is a just "2-minute job", please pay attention that this whole video/procedure lasts 1 minute and 26 seconds. :)
It is possible to split the backrest and the bottom part without removing the screws by leaning the backrest flat. It then pops out at the hinge. This is normal by design. It makes it easier to pull the covers off and put them back on if you ever want to wash them. The tricky bit is knowing that you have to pull these two screws out to be able to put the hinge back together. We have the Pallas 2 and the Pallas M. The Pallas M just pops back together. The Pallas 2 wasted about 1 hour of my life until I found this video. Thank you, OP.
I tried doing this with a normal Phillips head screwdriver before realising that the screws on mine have a flower-shaped groove, rather than a cross (for a phillips head) or a straight line, which are the only two types I've ever seen. Do yours also have that flower-shaped indention in the screw head and did you already possess a screwdriver that fit it? What is that screwdriver called??? Thanks!!!

How did yours end up like that? Ours came like that. Wondering why it ends up like this. If it is some faulty manufacturing?

This is not true. It can not be pallas 2 fix!
