The worst thing about Tiny's redesign is that he used to be a TASMANIAN TIGER and the Radicals just didn't get it and went "well lets make him look more like a tiger". 0 research, 0 efford.

I get that what they did with Crash Design. an islander, but it looks more like he is a missing member of the jersey shore

Regarding Mind over Mutant, Super Mario Odyssey has a lot better speed and pacing, all by letting us go to checkpoints in an instant.
And also, the MoM cutscenes, while fun, ain't gonna be as timeless as the masterpiece that is Rosalina's Storybook from Super Mario Galaxy.

I nesely had a Spoony-style "BETRAYAL!!" moment when these games first came out, but looking back, they are harmless. Mediocre, but with some fun moments, and the second game actually made me laugh several times. I'm always a sucker for videoes looking back on the good old days of the PS2, so I wouldn't mind more videos with this topic. 🙂

me and my brother played COT back when it released on the PS2. we always fought over who got to jack which mutant first
though i'll admit that i was never a Crash fan, probably because i started on Wrath of Cortex and never finished it
i do remember it fondly, honestly felt like a proper adventure across wumpa island.
MOM was also fun but a huge hamper to enjoying that game was the fact i got it on PSP and it took a very long time to load anything and had plenty of performance issues besides
especially the scrapyard section, and i remember the platforming there being awful besides
and MOM did have fast travel albiet it was activated so late into the game it was meaningless outside of the story mission it was set up for

MOM isn’t open world,it’s more metroidvania akin to Batman Arkham asylum where you visit areas and backtrack to old areas where new parts of the worlds open up. This is standard for these games,MOM only has you backtrack once. Other than that you constantly visit new areas while completing the story missions.
And there is a fast travel in the game, there’s a warp room in mount grimly once you beat the story missions. I can tell you didn’t play this game nor beat it.
After you beat the game, there’s loads of battle arenas, missions, time trials you can do.
This game is literally any Metroidvania game like Batman Arkham asylum but for kids with a street fighter esque flair being the main focus.

I still prefer titans over MOM however MOM was upgrade in disappointing way like three step forward two steps back
Mainly due to the backtracking as you said the backtracking is quarter of the game or third if not it sucks so much especially about finding a way to Nina school
The mutants are upgrading to have extra ability and used in puzzle which is cool
Soundtrack are more memorable and cutscenes are better comedic
Just the backtracking killing the joy and the pace

I really don't know if it's because of my nostalgia or not but I really enjoy Titans. It's just pure mindless fun, defeating enemies, collection mojo and all that stuff. I also %100 understand why people don't like it too. Though I hate Mind Over Mutant that one is just miserable.

First, has standalone spin off series (i think Radical Entertainment games shojuld be considered a split pathways of sorts like the Links of 3 different timelines), then this timeline would be considered the "crunch timeline" of course this would be (after 3): Wrath of Cortex, Twinsanity, CNK(consider it like a spinoff of a spinoff) then Titans and Mutants. So main timeline would be 1~4. Second, yeah the Tiny change was ass but dont get me started on Crunch, cuz RE version is the best CRUNCH the series has

How do you get a mix of Mike Tyson and Mickey Mouse from the original Tiny plus he was marsupial in the classic games not a actual tiger
