Jamie Lewis Mine was tough coming out because my stylist glued my protective barrier down around the edges. The other part came right off with warm water, but the stocks was thought to get off around my edges since she used glue.

@@nanahoney4195 umm maybe about a good 45 minutes. I glued in a pack and a half. It didn't take long at all. I'm not doing any leave out next time. I think I'm doing an invisible part or even a closure. I hate having leave out. I have a perm bit it still tends to frizz since it's my first perm in a while. It was super quick though. I am still getting compliments!

The glue protectant that she brushed on allows the weave to rinse off with water😶... I know y'all ain't still getting quick weaves without protectant...Where y'all from the ice age🤷🏽♀️... This stuff has been out for a long time

I love this, I had a quick weave recently, but my stylist glued the protective barrier down around the perimeter (edges) I would’ve had less trouble removing it if it wasn’t glued.
Can you please explain what you mean? I’m going to try this and don’t want it to be hard to come off. I thought the protective barrier helps it come off easier 🤷🏾♀️

i would only do this technique on short hair and use two caps and i wouldnt put that glue across the cap like tht either...her weave not going to last that long bcus of the mold it will it itch really bad ppl beleive this a quick way out and its exactly takes longer and its not protecting the hair if they dont know the proper way of taking out

Hello, not being rude but, using this format to address concerns
I'm not sure how long she has been coming to you, but she def need her ends chopped, not trimmed, and then treatments, deep conditioning, and a very good regimen. Hate seeing damaged hair covered for the sake of a buck. We as hair dressers have to have the clients BEST interest in mind even if it means a NO sometimes to certain requests. Honesty, integrity, and loving on their scalps is our FIRST job and styles should be last.

This is just amazing to me. I'm a white dude and I have a couple stupid questions. 1)Does any of the stuff you put on the hair before the cap damage the hair when it's on so long? 2) I read that these can last 4 weeks? My hair gets super greasy after 3 or 4 days without washing, does that still happen? 3) What do you do when you have an itch? 4) can you take that out on your own or do you need to go back to the stylist to do it correctly? and 5) Why do they call it a weave when it's more of a wig?
